Happy birthday to Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry. This is probably my favorite song by the band (along with More Than This). Late night last night, looking a bit tired, but that's what you get when you dance 'till dawn. 🎤😎🎶 by @stewreplogle

Been years since I've sung this but thought I'd give it a shot after hearing that Pete Byrne, lead singer of Naked Eyes, passed away today. Rest in peace, Pete. 🙏🎶 by @stewreplogle

Thought I'd share this since it's Jimmy Stewart's birthday today and there seem to be a lot of people who admired him both as an actor and a human being. When I was a film major in college, I co-chaired the Denison Film Society and was responsible for picking the films that the University showed that year. One of the movies I sought out was, at the time, not nearly as well known as it has since become- namely, It's a Wonderful Life. After lining up it's screening, I got the addresses for both Frank Capra and Jimmy Stewart, asking if they'd consider coming to Denison to discuss the film after it's showing. Unfortunately, neither were available but each responded and were kind enough to send me signed photos. When I wrote them back to thank them, Capra sent another autographed piece of memorabilia and Jimmy surprised me with this; a hand sketched signed drawing he did of George Bailey "lassoing the moon". To this day, I regard it as the most wonderful piece of memorabilia I own. God bless you and thanks for all the precious memories, Mr. Stewart! 🙏 by @stewreplogle

Director Frank Capra was born on this day in 1897. He passed away at age 94 and lived a very Wonderful Life. His films are among my all-time favorites, including Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Meet John Doe, It Happened one Night, Mr.Deeds goes to Town and that holiday classic featuring a guy named George Bailey from a little town called Bedford Falls. 🥳🎂 by @stewreplogle

Happy 66th birthday to Bono (aka Paul Hewson). I've seen U2 many times in concert over the years, including their earliest tours, and have always enjoyed covering their songs. Cheers to you, Mr. Vox! 🥳🎂 by @stewreplogle

My son, Erik, works a second job as an Uber driver and gave a ride to this happy (Gilmore) passenger today. He mentioned that I'd been in four different Sandler films and was thrilled when Adam invited him to shoot hoops together this weekend. How cool is that? 🏀⛹️‍♂️ by @stewreplogle
