There’s just something about St. Francis Hall.⁣
⁣
Maybe it’s the brick. Maybe it’s the windows. Maybe it’s those twinkle lights that somehow make every wedding feel a little bit magical.⁣
⁣
For Erin & Joel's wedding, we loved the contrast of all that warm architecture with cool blues, crisp whites and lots of greenery. Nothing fighting the room. Nothing trying too hard. Just really pretty flowers in a really wonderful space.⁣
⁣
And honestly, we could design here a hundred times and still get excited walking through those doors.⁣

St. Francis Hall is one of those DC wedding venues that gives you a little of everything: old-world character inside, green space outside, and enough room for the people you love to actually spread out and celebrate 🎉❤️.

More details from C+J at St. Francis Hall. ✨

Lush pastel florals including garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, cosmos, and fresh herbs brought Caroline & John’s vintage garden vision to life. Soft, romantic, and right at home in this beautiful historic venue.

The perfect transition from Summer to Fall. 🍃

Couldn't fit all of M&S's day into one post, so here's part two. 🤍

One of my favorite moments at every St. Francis Hall wedding is right before the ceremony begins. The room fills with that quiet anticipation as guests take their seats and the flowers finally become part of the scene they were designed for.⁣
⁣
For Alexandra & Sam’s ceremony, the stage was framed with a lush, deconstructed arch, creating a focal point against the hall’s burgundy proscenium drape. As the music began and Alexandra walked down the aisle, everything came together in that way it only does once. The architecture, the flowers, the lighting, and two people about to start their marriage. It is always a privilege to help shape that moment.⁣

A ceremony setting that felt right at home in the beauty of St. Francis Hall. 🤍

For Caroline & John, we designed branchy, garden-inspired urn arrangements that framed the couple beautifully without competing with the historic architecture of the space. The natural light pouring into the room made everything feel soft, airy, and effortlessly romantic—letting the old-world character of the building shine alongside the florals.

The bouquet is often the first place a couple’s floral vision comes to life. It is the piece everyone notices up close, and it quietly sets the tone for the entire wedding design.⁣
⁣
For Mandana & Jan’s St. Francis Hall wedding, Mandana carried a cascading bouquet of white anemone, burgundy hanging amaranthus, roses and spray roses in shades of burgundy and cream, and burgundy protea accented with eucalyptus and jasmine vine. The shapes were bold and sculptural, which gave the bouquet a modern feeling while still feeling elegant against the historic backdrop of the hall. When a bouquet reflects the personality of the couple, it becomes more than just flowers. It becomes part of the story of the day.⁣
