Arketyp is a music group that brings together several record labels, a recording studio, a record store (Stockholm’s best), a publishing house, and more. As pioneers in their field, they seek out what others often overlook – sounds, ideas, and visions waiting to be revealed.

The visual identity is based on the idea of seeing the unseen – uncovering ideas and expressions that typically go unnoticed. This involves embracing fresh perspectives and challenging conventions, with a consistent focus on longevity and quality. Viagra Boys, Anna von Hausswolff, Dungen, Yung Lean, Yttling Jazz, and others are all a testiment to this approach.

At its core, the identity encourages viewing the familiar from new angles to discover the unexpected. The rotated ‘A’ becomes a wide-open eye – symbolising a constant gaze towards what lies ahead. It’s about finding the future in the present, and turning what’s hidden into what’s heard.

Killinggänget is a Swedish comedy ensemble formed in 1991, known for pioneering a dark, dramatic take on comedy through beloved TV shows and films before going quiet in the 2000s.

This identity and campaign mark the group’s comeback, announcing their first new show in 19 years, planned for the Globe venue (Avicii Arena) in Stockholm in July 2027. The visual identity is built around the Globe’s iconic spherical shape, and the announcement and campaign has drawn wide national reach, with national media reporting live on it. Tickets go on sale August 29. To be continued.

New monograph for Sigma Foundation:
Trevor Key.

Trevor Key’s collaborative and experimental photographic practice spanned over twenty years (1972–1995). This book is the first monograph to honor his processes and prescience and is a timely reminder of the promo-digital, practical photographic magic that Key’s photographs embody.

Essay and interview with Peter Saville by Charlotte Cotton. Design and executive production by Stockholm Design Lab. Edited and sequenced by Björn Kusoffsky.

Big thanks to Peter Saville, Toby M Pond, the Estate of Trevor Key, and POST books.
