Our 2027 Tasmania Illustrated Calendar is finally here! 🇦🇺🦭✨

Three completely different illustrated calendars for three cities this year… I think we've officially drawn enough calendars for one lifetime 😂🎨

This little one is all about the magic of Tasmania — adorable wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and the dreamy Southern Lights! 🌿💫

13 original illustrations, double-sided pages, and upgraded paper and stand. So much love (and so many late nights!) went into every little detail. 💌

Yesterday was our first market back after the holidays! 🥹💛

Sydney welcomed us with POURING rain, a leaking tent, and then… SUNSHINE!! 🌧️➡️☀️

So happy to see familiar faces, meet new friends, and especially see our old friends bringing their friends along hahaha 🫶

26 illustrations later… our 2027 calendars are finally here! 🇦🇺🎨

This year, we designed two city-themed desk calendars, one for Sydney and one for Melbourne!

Each calendar features 13 original illustrations with double-sided designs. That’s 52 sides in total! Not gonna lie, by the time we got to the final layouts, we were seriously questioning our life choices 🤣

We also took your feedback from last year to heart! Some of you mentioned that the pages tended to curl over time, so we’ve upgraded everything this year, from the paper and binding to the overall finish.

We ended up choosing thick, pearlescent paper, and we absolutely love how every page looks and feels ✨

We hope these calendars will be more than just a way to keep track of dates, but a little piece of art to keep you company throughout 2027 💌

We love Neil a little too much 🦭 so of course we had to turn him into a whole series.
Honestly, who could say no to a seal who treats the road like his bed and traffic cones like pillows? 🥹
Technically he’s a very real, very large roadblock… but when you’re this cute, apparently anything goes.
And since Neil loves lying in the middle of the road so much, we decided the zebra crossing could double as his little blanket. 😴
He can nap wherever he likes, but we’re not letting that belly get cold.
Meanwhile, we’ve been taking notes on Neil’s unmatched “yep, this is mine now” level of confidence and relaxation while drawing 🎨
And somehow that turned into an entire collection of Neil singing, napping, blocking traffic… and then napping some more. 🦭
Part of us hopes he’ll keep coming back every year, but it’s a little bittersweet too.
As much as we love seeing him wandering through human towns, we hope that one day he finds his own kind, his own companions, and gets to live a proper little seal life of his own. 🥹
He can always pop back in to visit us, of course. 🤍

🌏 Around the world, one sketch at a time.
🇦🇺 → 🇮🇹 → 🇪🇸 → 🇨🇳 → 🇦🇺
Somewhere along the way, we realised this trip had turned into a full loop around the globe — from Sydney to Europe, back to China, and finally home again.

After working non-stop for most of the year, we finally took a proper break — leaving Sydney’s winter behind for the Mediterranean summer, wandering through old towns and tiny alleyways, climbing endless church steps, hiking in the mountains, and somehow surviving a 35°C temperature swing along the way. (Seriously, Spain… 40°C in September?!)

🎨 We turned 7 stops from this trip into illustrations — only 7 because, as always, we wildly overestimated how fast we could draw 😂

So many places seen, so many ideas collected — and somehow the more we travel, the longer the “things we want to draw” list gets.
Back in the Southern Hemisphere now, with a very full camera roll and an even fuller head of inspiration 😉

All aboard the Puffing Billy Railway 🚂🌿

For our version of this iconic little train, we gave the carriage a few very Australian passengers — native animals enjoying the ride, with a koala in a conductor’s hat leading the way 🐨🎩

From the steam train and forest to every tiny passenger, here’s a little look at how the illustration came together.

A ride through the Dandenong Ranges, with a touch of Australian imagination. ✨
