Happy International Women’s Day my fellow Matriarchs!
You are not responsible for anyone’s distorted perception of you. Stand firm in your own light and truth.✨✊🏽

Remembering this moment when carrying baby medicine and asked Mother Earth to mold, guide and protect him. My Tábaahí baby, I prayed over him and gave him to the water. When speaking over him while sitting in the creek that flows from our ancestors original home I asked his papa 🌧 to hold him closely & also be his protector. When I brought baby into this world it was the toughest and scariest moments of my life. Baby medicine was my only pregnancy that I experienced my water breaking. Every crucial moment surrounding his welcoming was guided by the water. The water always realigned me when I had to fight my way back. Water is life as life starts in water 🌀.

She’s living her life, not as the little girl afraid of flames, but as the woman who’s walked through fire 🔥. I don’t think people realize how much strength it takes to pull your own self out of a dark place mentally 🥺. So, if you’ve done that today or any day, I’m so proud of you 👏🏽. Keep going don’t give up or listen to the doubt your mind tries to feed you.

Stay positive and just love yourself especially for the small things you’ve done. Waking up is an accomplishment, and here you are reading this message, another accomplishment 🙌🏽.

Patience, discipline, faith, forgiveness are the only weapons you’ll need to achieve self love 💕.

Love & light ✨

Happy Friday 😊,
I have received so many messages asking how baby and I are doing. Firstly, thank you 🙏🏽 for being so thoughtful and kind. I am happy to share we welcomed our son into the world🤱🏽.

I wasn’t able to have the perfect labor & delivery story,

If you or someone you know is fighting something never stop praying for them. However you give thanks, talk to or pray to your creator do it. Don’t stop. Smoke your home, person and the direction they’re in. However you praise, reach out and replenish yourself through the spirit world don’t stop. Keep fighting for yourself/loved ones through prayer I PROMISE they hear you. The power your prayers carry are so rich no medicine can beat them.

It’s been months since I’ve been home. It’s been weeks since I’ve seen or held my children. Within the weeks/months I had a baby via emergency c-section, fought Covid-pneumonia which led to my lungs collapsing, was in a coma on life support to now been fighting to relearn basic functioning needs in physical rehabilitation.

It’s been a long road, tough scary road but I’m still here. All thanks to my family, friends and the many prayers received by all. I still have a journey ahead of me but everyday I am fighting to stay positive and heal. It’s been months and I finally got to meet/hold my baby for the first time. Every day I dreamt of the moment of having him in my arms to feel his heartbeat against mine again 💓, to know his scent, to see his tiny perfect self.

So, if you have been trying to get ahold of me, order etc I haven’t been ignoring you… I’ve been healing on the highest level possible. Mentally, physically and emotionally I’ve been on this healing journey and life reflection. I promise in due time I will be back when I can. I have so much to live for and even more to share with you all. Thank you for the amazing amount of love, prayers and support 🙏🏽❤️.

Thought 💭, I’ve been in rooms lately where the whole point isn’t to sell anything or pitch anything — it’s just to sit across from another woman building something of her own and say, I see what you’re doing, and it matters. Those rooms don’t get talked about enough. We spend so much energy on the transactional side of business — the sales, the growth, the metrics — that we forget the thing underneath all of it is still just people who believe in each other enough to keep going. If you’ve ever doubted whether supporting a small business, showing up for another woman’s work, or believing in something before it’s proven itself is worth your time — it is. That belief is what keeps entire communities of makers alive. by @stillshelives

I don’t say this enough, so I’m going to say it here where it’s permanent. This was never actually a solo project, even though it started that way — just me, an idea, and a lot of doubt about whether it would go anywhere. Somewhere along the way it stopped being just mine. It became something other people carried too — the ones who showed up to a market before anyone knew my name, the ones who shared a post because they believed in what I was building before there was proof it would work, the ones who bought a piece and told me what it meant to them. I think about that more than people probably realize. None of this exists in a vacuum, and none of it would exist at all without the people who decided to believe in it early.

If you’ve been one of those people quietly, loudly, from the very beginning or just recently… this is me telling you that you built this with me. I haven’t forgotten it. Thank you 🙏🏽 by @stillshelives
