PUNTA CANA!!! 🌴🇩🇴☀️🌊🏖️

From snorkelling, plates of bread and cheese in Italian night, beach, SUN and sand; an engagement, dancing to ‘Queen’ the Dominican band, having a mariachi band sing la bamba where it felt like my theme song, then getting to join the band. This was a fun family trip! 😄😂

I’ve been blessed in my life to have mentors and many interactions with people who are in their golden years. If you haven’t already, I would highly recommend seeking out an older person, whoever that may be; to sit with them and hear their story, hear their advice, and soak up their wisdom. It will add so much value to your life. Over the past few years I’ve had even more elderly and older people I’ve met and it has grown me so much as an individual with perspective, mentorship, direction, and in making choices. I feel I have been given a box of treasure from some and only when I start using this treasure will I then discover what I’ve truly been given. I expressed to one such mentor who shares with me how he’s preparing himself for when he goes to heaven (his body is breaking down and he is very realistic about the whole thing) how I selfishly want him to stick around, so when I have kids they can meet him. He tells me, they will, because you have learned from me and you will teach them. 🥹 That in itself, that true love, is why I’d recommend having an older person who you look up to in your life, or even go visit a seniors home maybe and just talk with an individual, start a conversation with an elder at your doctors office.
