We are honored to be included in Graphic Design USA’s “Responsible Designers To Watch” in 2022. We are humbled to be included alongside a community of creative and thought leaders who use their design talent and storytelling to make the world a better place through environmental and social activism.

Building on our expertise in launching highly technical brands and products at Nike and Google, we’ve recently been working with several climate technology platforms that are addressing decarbonization where it has the most impact: How we power society and how we travel. We believe these environmental platforms require inspiring and intuitive brand systems and have been honored to help launch important innovations including fusion energy and hydrogen aviation fuel cells.

NEW WORK: Findem Brand Identity (best experienced with sound 🔊)

Findem is redefining how companies understand and hire people. Most recruiting platforms reduce careers to static profiles and keyword filters, flattening the story behind the work. But the strengths of any career are shaped by a far richer story than traditional HR tech systems can capture.

Working closely with the Findem team reshaped how we think about hiring. The most meaningful signals often sit beneath the surface of a résumé, emerging through the relationships between skills, experiences, context and the people someone has worked alongside. Our role was not simply to design a technology brand, but to reveal the deeper story behind every career.

We built the brand around a simple insight. Careers aren’t flat. They’re dimensional.

That belief unfolds through an emotional brand narrative by our longtime collaborator Austin Howe. There’s a special kind of alchemy when copy and design evolve together. From there the system expands into a distinctive color palette, emotive typography, art directed portraiture and a 3D visual language that makes the Findem talent data engine visible. Together, we built a comprehensive brand spanning voice, identity, website, motion, social, campaign and environmental design.

Findem. Context is everything.

NEW WORK: Columbia Land Trust Brand Identity🌿

The Columbia Land Trust protects and stewards land across the Pacific Northwest. Land trusts are often misunderstood as static preserves that are set aside or left alone. Stewardship holds more surprises than most people expect.

Visiting Columbia Land Trust’s conservation projects reshaped our understanding of stewardship. It happens through the people doing the work, including field science and the daily decisions that balance ecosystems, communities, and long-term responsibility. Our role was not to romanticize nature, but to reveal what is often unseen.

We built the brand identity around a simple insight: trust is a verb. Stewardship is active, responsive and deeply human.

That belief unfolds through an emotional brand narrative, iconic photography and a living design system inspired by the forests, diverse landscapes and waterways of the Pacific Northwest. Together, we built a comprehensive brand spanning voice, identity, website, email, social, print and signage, all designed to support the full breadth of Columbia Land Trust’s work today and into the future.

Columbia Land Trust. Surprising by nature.

How do you make the invisible work of AI visible?

Findem’s AI maps the relationships between your skills, experiences and context across your career journey. We brought that system to life as a living process. As it moves, hidden relationships come into view, revealing depth beneath the surface.

Because talent isn’t flat. It’s dimensional.

A deeper look at the new design system for Findem: Designing a more human, dimensional view of talent.

Findem is redefining hiring by revealing the deeper story behind every career. We built the brand around a simple idea: careers aren’t flat, they’re dimensional. Through an emotional narrative with Austin Howe and a 3D visual language that makes talent data visible, the system brings context to life across every touchpoint.

Findem. See people in higher resolution.

NEW WORK: Columbia Land Trust Photography 🌲

Stewardship is often pictured as landscape. Quiet. Untouched. But spending time with the Columbia Land Trust showed us something very different. Stewardship is practiced by people. It lives in preparation, judgment, coordination and care, often under demanding conditions.

To capture that reality, we commissioned Clayton Cotterell to document their work. Fire crews moving deliberately through smoke. Scientists reading soil and seed by hand. Teams planning, restoring and adapting in real time. The beauty is there, but it is earned.

The photography became a foundation of the Columbia Land Trust brand and brought a core belief into focus: trust is a verb. Stewardship is active, responsive and grounded in responsibility.
