POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This week, @stjohnshoxton celebrated 200 years of faithful worship, service and witness in the heart of London.

More than 250 people gathered to give thanks for all God has done through this church over two centuries, with His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh joining the celebrations alongside local residents, community partners and church leaders.

From joyful worship and heartfelt thanksgiving to the voices of children and young people, the celebrations reflected the vibrant, diverse community that St John's continues to serve today.

As @rodeagreen, Bishop of Stepney, reminded the congregation, the story of St John's is not simply one of a historic building, but of generations of lives transformed by the hope of Jesus Christ.

We give thanks for all that God has done over the past 200 years and pray for God's continued blessing as St John's begins its third century, serving Hoxton, seeking its welfare and sharing the good news with future generations.

What a wonderful Harvest Lunch we had last Sunday! 🍂

It was such a blessing to come together as a church family, share a delicious meal, and enjoy a time of fellowship and community.

We loved seeing everyone bring something to share and getting to know one another even more.
And of course, the quiz brought plenty of fun and laughter!

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make the day so special. We’re grateful for the joy of doing life together as a church family! ❤️ taken in St John's Hoxton by @stjohnshoxton

Our church family holiday has arrived, and we couldn't be more excited! It's time for campfires, laughter, unforgettable moments, and most importantly, gathering together to worship God.

This is a season we've been looking forward to—a chance to grow closer as a family, encounter God's presence, and see where He will lead us this year. 🙌

The wait is over, and we've truly missed this atmosphere. Here's to another incredible year of faith, fellowship, and making memories that will last a lifetime. by @stjohnshoxton
