Please join us in celebrating and thanking our latest Champion Donor Award Recipient, Susan Saunders!

The Champion Donor Award is nominated and voted on by the St. Jude Midwest Leadership Board and recognizes those who go above and beyond to help fulfill Danny Thomas’ dream - that no child dies from cancer.

For 18 years Susan spread awareness and raised critical funds for the children and families of St. Jude. She encouraged her listeners to become Partners in Hope by donating just $19 a month. Thanks to her dedication, she has helped raise over $1.5 million by using her voice and we cannot thank her enough. 🧡

Susan’s impact extends far beyond the dollars raised. She has helped bring hope to countless families facing childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We are incredibly grateful for her years of service. by @stjudeillinois

Every child deserves access to life-saving treatment. This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on the power of global collaboration. 🎗️

Childhood cancer medicines have been delivered to seven countries: Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, Nepal, Zambia, Jordan and Moldova. This effort is part of the Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines, a collaboration between St. Jude, the World Health Organization (WHO), and other partners to close the childhood cancer survival gap through sustainable access to quality-assured cancer medicines.

The initiative aims to reach more than 120,000 children in 50 countries. Your support helps us save even more lives. Thank you. 💛

What an incredible day we had at the St. Jude Walk Bloomington-Normal presented by Clemens Insurance and Auto-Owners Insurance!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to walk, run, fundraise, volunteer, and support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Because of this amazing community, we are helping ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we celebrate the scientists whose discoveries are changing the future for children with cancer. 🎗️

In 2025, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital produced 18 of the world’s most highly cited scientists - the most in St. Jude history. Being on the list means that you have produced multiple scientific papers ranking in the top 1% by citations for their fields for more than 10 years. Citations refer to how often a published research paper is included as a reference by other investigators in their work, which is a measure of that research’s reach and influence.

Being on this list indicates the deep value of research by St. Jude for scientists worldwide seeking to raise survival rates for children. Every breakthrough brings us closer to a world where no child dies from cancer. 💛
