Hiiiiii to everyone that’s new around here. Welcome! This might be a trend but it’s also a little peek into what you’ll find around here if you stick around.

I hate that Instagram is trying to make everyone “find your niche” and claiming that’s the only way to grow. I refuse.

So honestly you’ll find a little bit of everything around here depending on the day, my mood, or the season I’m currently in.

If I had to describe it I’d go with — a little midlife awakening, with a mix of chaotic motherhood + keeping our marriage hot, a sprinkle of activism, a dash of sass, a heaping of sparkles, and a whole lot of fun. Because I learned way too young that life is way too short to take yourself too seriously…

So much to be thankful for even in the midst of complete and utter chaos 🧡🧡🧡

Also… scroll for some outtakes if you want to see what taking photos with 3 kids is really like 😆😆😆 And no these aren’t edited at all, and yes, Logan has a giant golfball sized goose egg on her head. She got to take her first trip to the ER yesterday - she’s fine, just wild!

Earlier this year,
I got my first tattoo —
all of my babies, forever etched where I can see them,
and remember them,
every single day. 🤍

Fourteen years ago, on my 26th birthday,
we lost our first baby girl.
It was the kind of heartbreak that changes you forever.
I felt so broken.
Alone.
Like no one could possibly understand.

Back then, I didn’t know others who had walked this path — or maybe they just hadn’t found the words to share it yet.
Now I know… there are so many of us.
And while I wish none of us knew this pain, there’s comfort in knowing we don’t have to carry it alone. 🫶🏼

1 in 4 women will experience pregnancy or infant loss.
I’m one of them.
And if you are too — whether you’ve shared your story or held it quietly in your heart — please know, I see you.
You are not alone.

As much as I wish our journey had been easier,
it made me the mother I am today —
so deeply grateful,
so aware of how precious this life is.

I never take these babies for granted.
And I feel endlessly lucky that I get to be their Mama.

Lots of new faces around here so I should probably reintroduce myself. 👋🏼

I’m Beth. 40yo “elder millenial”, married to my favorite person, raising 3 kids in St. Louis, and generally doing about 78 things at any given time.

Around here you’ll find motherhood in all its chaotic glory — tween drama, toddler nonsense, sports schedules, and the daily realization that absolutely none of us know what we’re doing & we’re all figuring this out together.

There’s also easy outfits, things I probably didn’t need but absolutely bought anyway, beauty, travel, STL favorites, concerts, good food, strong drinks, random life and mom hacks, and whatever I happen to be hyperfixating on that week. Sometimes I’m funny.

I spent 17 years in corporate America before getting laid off, so occasionally you’ll also get thoughts on work, burnout, starting over and figuring out what the hell you actually want your life to look like.

I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, which honestly explained… a freakishly large amount of my behavior for most of my life.

I have opinions and I’m usually not particularly quiet about them. I care a lot about our schools, my community, women, working moms, and calling out bullshit when I see it.

Basically, this page is motherhood + marriage + outfits + shopping + STL + travel + strong opinions + whatever other nonsense I decide belongs here.

Not exactly a niche, but neither am I. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Who knew raising myself would be hard AF some days?!
Answer: my mother 🤣

She is kind, she is responsible, she is such a good friend but she is also FIRE. She’s stubborn, loves fiercely, is a people pleaser, and has a “get shit done” attitude that will make her unstoppable.

We just have to survive raising her 🔥

Every night before bed I ask him “who’s my favorite boy in the whole wide world?” And every night he answers “ME!” with the biggest smile on his face. (And then we giggle, shhhhh don’t tell daddy!)

Some days parenting this one is hard — he has BIG feelings, he’s my super sensitive little dude with a temper, and a brain that comes up with witty comebacks far beyond his years for absolutely everything.
