A Day for the Dogs 🐾

I can't believe it's already been a week since Starkey Market's very first Barktober Fest!

What an incredible day supporting Suncoast Animal League, resulting in 10 successful adoptions and providing an opportunity to spotlight and support 20+ local businesses throughout the event.

This event was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a great cause. And let me tell you... Pasco showed up! The Starkey community is truly something special. ❤️

I'm incredibly grateful to have played a role in bringing this event to life, but even more grateful for the impact it had on so many deserving dogs and the families who welcomed them home.

A heartfelt thank you to every vendor, volunteer, sponsor, attendee, and supporter who helped make our first Barktober Fest such a success. Together, we created a day filled with fun, connection, and meaningful impact.

Special thanks to @pixelated_fishy for capturing such amazing photos of the adorable pups who participated in the dog costume contest! 📸🐶

Follow along for more Pasco events, community initiatives, and local business collaborations.

Much love, ❤️🐾

TOMORROW... 🐾

Starkey Market will be hosting its very first Barktober Fest in support of Suncoast Animal League!

Join us and connect with 20 local vendors offering unique gifts, treats, and pet-friendly finds while supporting a great cause.

🌧️ Rain or Shine Event:
The festivities will continue regardless of the weather. If rain moves in, we'll simply move the celebration under cover. For the comfort and safety of your furry friends, we encourage pets to stay home if conditions become wet while you browse and shop for them at Starkey Market.

🎟️ Basket Raffle On Site
We'll be accepting both cash and card payments for raffle entries, with proceeds benefiting Suncoast Animal League.

We can't wait to see you there and celebrate with our local community while helping animals in need!

Stopped into Main Street Deli for their soft opening and let me tell you… I have many words, but the two that matter most: NO CRUMBS.

Fresh, delicious, filling, and all Boar’s Head meats and cheeses 🧀

They’re celebrating their ribbon cutting and grand opening this Saturday, June 13th at 11am.

Bring your family, friends, colleagues—whoever you love eating good food with—and help welcome this new business to the neighborhood.

Mark your calendars for next Saturday, the 13th — Main Street Deli is officially opening in Downtown NPR. With seasoned Buffalo deli owners behind it, this spot is a beautiful addition to our growing small‑business district.

Community support matters, especially on day one. Swing by, grab something good, and help celebrate their launch.

Comment below if we’ll see you there!! 🥪

Last night’s @locash concert at @starkeymarket was the best way to kick off summer ☀️ The atmosphere, the organization, and the way they brought the community together was genuinely impressive.

Shoutout to the Starkey staff for being energetic, diligent, and so friendly all night, y’all made the whole experience feel effortless!!

As a small‑business consultant, it’s inspiring to see a local business pull off an event this well while still keeping that warm, hometown feel. Nights like this remind me why supporting local matters. Odessa showed up and Starkey Market delivered 🍻👏🏼
