Stepping into the Omnimax at the Saint Louis Science Center felt like stepping into another world and experiencing it through my daughter’s eyes made it even more special.

It had been years since I last visited the Saint Louis Science Center Omnimax Theater, and I forgot just how immersive it truly is. The 80-foot tilted dome screen with laser-sharp projection surrounds you completely… it doesn’t feel like you’re watching a film, it feels like you’re inside of it.

We watched Serengeti and were instantly transported to Africa’s vast plains during one of nature’s greatest events, the wildebeest migration. From lions to elephants to the rhythm of an entire ecosystem working together, it was educational, cinematic, and breathtaking for all ages.

My daughter was completely captivated the entire time… and so was I.

And the best part? The Science Center is free to enter, making this such an incredible option for affordable family fun, just purchase tickets for the Omnimax experience.

We brought the fun home with McDonald’s + MONOPOLY, and let’s just say… everybody was ready to win! 😂🙌🏾 Between our favorite McDonald’s treats, family time, and the excitement of collecting game pieces, this was the perfect way to turn an ordinary night into a little friendly competition!

Because it’s not always about going out and spending money… sometimes the best memories are made right at home! 🏡❤️

DEATH BECOMES HER at the Fabulous Fox Theatre is a MUST-SEE! 🤩

The comedy, the music, THE DRAMA!!!! 😂🎶 Madeline and Helen are an absolute HOOT, and let me tell you… that staircase scene is something you HAVE to experience in person! 👀🤣 I couldn’t get enough! And the psych hospital OMG!

If you love the movie, you’re going to LOVE seeing this story come to life on stage. The laughs, the theatrics, the over-the-top moments… ALL OF IT! 💀✨

This past Friday, we took over the City Museum Costume Ball and let loose the spooky way! 🕸️✨ We came as Black Cruella and her Dalmatian, and let’s just say… A TIME WAS HAD! 🐾🖤

From the creative costumes to the spooky decor and themed drinks, the vibes were EVERYTHING! If you were looking for a 21+ night out to get dressed up, have some fun, and tap into your spooky side, this was IT! There is always next year! 🥂🦇

🍂🎃 One of our FAVORITE family traditions is back! ❤️ The 29th Annual Florissant Fall Festival did NOT disappoint! 🍁✨ @florissantcity @florissantparkrec

Every year, we love coming out to celebrate the season, spend time together, and support the amazing local businesses that make our community so special! 🧡

📍 The festival takes over St. Francois Street, bringing together local vendors, great food, and so much community spirit!

🍷 We stopped by Socially Her, a locally owned, Black-owned wine company, for a tasting! 🥂 Always love discovering and supporting Black-owned businesses!

🌮 And of course, we had to try the food! Dee’s Kitchen came through with the Jerk Chicken Philly and Jerk Chicken Tacos! 🔥😋 Both were a must-try!

Events like this are such a beautiful reminder that supporting local businesses is one way we can pour back into our own community. From the small businesses to the family traditions, THIS is what makes Florissant special! 🫶🏾

Meet JJ’s Bakehouse, a locally family-owned bakery created by Breanna and Jacob in honor of their beloved son, JJ. What started as a way to honor his memory has become a beautiful way to share something sweet with their community. ❤️

I got to try their variety pack, and let me tell you… these cinnamon rolls brought back ALL the nostalgic flavors of my childhood! 😍 From the classic cinnamon roll to peach cobbler and Biscoff, every bite was a treat, but that caramel pecan cinnamon roll stole my heart!
