It’s been about a week since we moved out of our home of almost 7 years (8 years total) in Raleigh. The last month or so has been one of the toughest to date. With everything we had to do in a limited amount of time, plus a lot of personal/family & work stuff, it’s been a lot.
I just want to sincerely thank everyone that put in a solid effort these last few weeks to get it all done, the skaters (and shops) that participated in our last couple contests/events, all the people that booked a private sesh & came out to the usual Wednesday sessions, and anyone that has supported our efforts along the way. It is truly appreciated and helps to inspire/motivate us to keep going and figure it out, even with setbacks along the way. We’re always learning, trying to get better, and doing our best to add something positive to the Raleigh/Durham skate scene.
This project has been DIY from the start, with the goal of skating (rain or shine), designing/building fun stuff to skate, and having good times with homies (old & new) as the focus. Although we are currently experiencing a setback in a situation that was out of our control, the goal still remains.
We are excited about future plans, and will keep you posted on the details ✔️
For now, we’ll continue to put out content from the past couple months and be working on new projects/collaborations..
Look out for something this week 👀
We’re always available for custom design/build skate ramps (also.. pet houses, garden beds, fences, benches, bridges, decks, shelving, tables, bed frames, etc.), so feel free to reach out via DM or email 🛠
Stay tuned, and if you have an idea for a potential project/collaboration/event, hit us up 🍻

This multi-purpose ‘bump-to-bar’ was one of my favorite obstacles to design / build; created for the Sip ‘N’ Shred event in Durham this past weekend.
A convertible feature that changes from a bank-to-rail type setup to a bump over rail style setup (with removable rail). It also includes a trex / composite edge on the platform to potentially skate separately as a small box, a steeper wallride / wallie on the back side, and cut out handles in both sections for transportation.
Thanks @caragreenproducts for the Gator Skins, @hondaproblems00 for the rail / welding work, and @kevinmorrisroberts for the tunes 🤝

One of my fav clips / edits from our ‘Stoak & Post’ contest a few years ago featuring @tweakingoffthemid, that somehow vanished from the page. It was Bryant’s birthday yesterday so it seemed like an appropriate time to repost.
Stoak & Post was also my favorite event to do because it allowed me to hangout and film with various skaters from around NC for extended periods of time. Getting to know them, their personalities, styles, tricks, etc. and then seeing the edits come together was definitely an enjoyable / unique experience.
Working on a way to bring this back in a slightly different setting. Stay tuned 🍃🍂 #nc #stoakandpost5 taken in North Carolina by @stoakcity

We’re excited to announce that Raleigh, NC, is getting a legal, sanctioned DIY skatepark!

Thanks to @919diy and @raleighparks , we’ve been granted an asphalt lot at Jaycee Park where we’ll begin building. There’s a lot of work ahead, from site prep to fundraising, so every share helps!

This rendering is a concept and doesn’t yet include all of the phases we have planned. We’ll keep everyone updated with volunteer opportunities, workdays, and fundraising events as they come together.

If you’d like to support the project, check out the GoFundMe linked in our bio.

As always, respect the spot. 🫡🗣️ taken in Jaycee Park by @stoakcity

Quick stop in Asheville on a recent trip to Tennessee. This was my first time in WNC since getting caught in some of the Helene madness, and I was glad to see that things have been bouncing back post-storm (also understanding there’s still a long way to go and a lot of people dealing with tough situations).
Just wanted to give a shoutout to everyone’s continued efforts in rebuilding / restoring the area, the crew @foundationasheville for keeping NC’s best DIY alive and well, and @pushskateshop for being the local skate hub for 20+ years (and saving me this board).
Hope to be back soon 🍻
