#disember2024 post for December 25. #melodytime

“Once he roped a ragin’ cyclone out of nowhere and he straddled it and settled down with ease. And while that cyclone bucked and flitted, Pecos rolled a smoke a lit it, and he tamed that ornery wind down to a breeze.“🎶

Thanks to @lb.illustrates @theanimatedlife and @whitneypollett for organizing this event. Wish I had time to do more of these prompts this month.

From the archive. Drawn from imagination around 2002. It’s been forever since I’ve attempted to draw something like this. Should I do more?

Another group of agencies downrange with TEES!

This week's course is underway in Byhalia, MS — putting operators through hands-on explosive breaching training built on real-world experience, not theory.

Agencies don't come to TEES for a certificate. They come to train the way they'll operate.

Pro-tip: don’t hit one of these with your car. Probability is low, but not 0%.

A throwback Thursday to when 12 year me was obsessed with Killer Instinct. I cut a lot of lawns and filled the KI machine with quarters in a vain attempt to master the combo system. I also spent hours copying the designs and renders of @kevbaylissart from the pages of GamePro, Nintendo Power, and Electronic Gaming Monthly.

If you played KI check out @kevbaylissart who did character design, animation, motion capture, and even some voice acting on the Killer Instinct games. He’s been posting great stuff showing the history of game development at Rare. If you played arcade fighting games in the 90s, or games made by Rare for Nintendo, his account is a must follow.
