“Jukolan Viesti” is Finland’s legendary overnight orienteering relay, raced through the forest from dusk until dawn.

For decades, people followed it through whispered radio reports from checkpoints deep in the forest. Commentators waited in darkness, identifying runners only as they emerged into view.

That fleeting moment—the runner unseen, then suddenly visible—inspired the Athlete Reflective Backpack.

Made to move through low light. Designed to be spotted.

The furthest a Stolt product has ever travelled under race conditions.

220 kilometres. Five stages. Five days through Jordan’s desert - across sand, exposed valleys and rock formations, in temperatures reaching 34°C.

@raymond_tedders raced the full Ultra X Jordan carrying the Stolt Ultralight backpack.

Five days of heat, abrasion and repeated use. A field test measured in distance, not claims.

Into the 50 follows six Stolt runners across 50 kilometres, from the edge of the city, through Epping Forest and back again.

They started together, but as the distance unfolded, each found their own race. Some were stepping beyond marathon distance for the first time. Others were returning to see what 50K would ask of them again.

Different experiences, different outcomes but all part of the distance.

6.7 km. Back on the start line every hour. No set finish distance, just the decision to go again.

Over the weekend, Stolt co-founder @keijojuhani and his friend and Stolt athlete @benrunstrails took on The Endless Garden Backyard Ultra, with Kris crewing them through the changing hours.

Keijo completed 14 laps (nearly 94 km) and missed the cutoff for lap fifteen by only a few seconds. Ben continued for 16 laps, covering almost 108 km.

That is the unforgiving simplicity of a backyard ultra: run, recover, reset. Then find out whether you can do it once more. by @stoltrunning
