In high school, people really tried to tell me and my friends we weren’t going to be nothing in life. So what do you do when you hear that? Prove them right… or prove them wrong? It wasn’t easy—nights I wanted to quit, days I questioned everything. But I kept my head up, chest out, ten toes down. I stayed solid.
First-gen college graduate meaning I’m the first in my family to finish college. This isn’t something that happens where I’m from . Played college football. Joined a fraternity. Traveled places people where I’m from don’t even see.

Along the way, I met a lot of genuine people. It gets emotional thinking about all the connections I made and how this chapter is starting to close. They say there’s no progress if you stay in the same place—and that’s real.

Just know, you’ll always have me in your lives. I consider y’all family, for real. I appreciate everyone who played a part in my journey, even if it was something as small as a head nod in the hallway. I couldn’t have done this without my family—their support meant everything. I learned a lot about myself and grew into a better person. There were nights I wanted to give up, nights I really broke down… but God kept me going. He knew this was a battle I could win. Turned pain into progress. Doubt into motivation. Pressure into diamonds. They said I wouldn’t be nothing… now I’m everything they doubted. Western Michigan has been nothing but love. The Zoo will always have a place in my heart.

2 internships down—Special Teams Assistant Coach for our football program & Sports Programmer at the YMCA.
3x Dean’s List.
Multiple scholarships earned.
Chapter President from 2024-2026.
