The wedding you’ve seen everywhere, through our floral lens. For Brigette & Mitch’s Newport celebration, we dreamed in layers of white and green,creating a ceremony that felt abundant, romantic and completely at home against the coast. The aisle became a garden of its own, overflowing with hydrangea, roses and delicate blooms that seemed to grow right from the lawn. Layers of flowers carried all the way to the water’s edge, where a lush floral arch framed the couple against the sea. Every arrangement was designed to feel loose, organic and beautifully abundant , softening into the landscape while completely transforming it. And then there was the bride. The dress, the roses, the petals in the air… every detail felt like it belonged in a dream. Every once in a while, a wedding comes together with such incredible intention that the details feel almost effortless. Saturday at Ocean House was exactly that thoughtful, layered and beautifully considered from beginning to end. From the very beginning, this amazing bride and her mom had a vision, and no detail was too small. Every color, every texture, every little moment was considered so thoughtfully, and watching it all come together was incredibly special. We transformed the terrace and ballroom into a garden oasis that felt as though it had been growing there for years. Flowers spilled from urns and climbed along the terrace, gardens seemed to grow right from the lawn, and layers upon layers of blooms filled every corner. Inside, that same feeling continued, surrounding guests in flowers, candlelight and all of the beautiful details woven throughout the day. It was abundant and romantic, whimsical yet refined, and completely transportive. The kind of wedding you don’t just walk into. You step into its world. ✨The Room Reveal✨ After months of dreaming, designing, refining details, and bringing a shared vision to life, we finally get to stand beside our couples as they see it all come together for the very first time. The flowers, the candlelight, the textures, the colors, the atmosphere, every detail thoughtfully chosen and intentionally placed. Watching their faces light up as they take it all in is the reminder of why we do what we do. It’s more than beautiful décor, it’s seeing a story, a feeling, and a vision come alive in a space created just for them. I never knew why and how much Elizabeth loved flowers until during the ceremony when I heard her vows. In her own written words, Elizabeth eloquently spoke of flowers. She described their beauty and symbolism, what makes each type special, and how nurturing them parallels to relationships. Knowing what a specific flower needs and how to help it thrive and grow was a beautiful commitment, and she promised that to Tommy. And suddenly all of the colorful hand selected flowers surrounding us along the aisle, woven into the arch and balustrade, throughout the tablescapes and pinned onto Tommy’s lapel made complete sense, and everything seemed that much more extraordinary in that moment. Elizabeth and Tommy, you both brought so much sunshine and joy to our year. It feels like endless Summer when celebrating with you both. Here’s to forever, and being exactly what each other needs on your incredible journey together.
