Progress often involves measures of pain. By facing and overcoming challenges, we develop resilience and strength, building momentum that creates perseverance and propels us toward recognizable advancements.

Even amidst imperfection, I persistently show up! Despite the shadows of my past casting their weight, I refuse to let them overshadow my quest to provide my children with all the opportunities I never had and to embody a role model I’ve never experienced. Let’s break the cycle of victimhood and instead become agents of empowerment, creating a brighter tomorrow for ourselves and those around us. #breakgenerationaltrauma #recoveryjourney #sobercompanion #peersupprt #secureattachment by @stonebridgerecovery

💘Grief & Loss

A big part of my story has been coping with the loss of my mother, the only source of unconditional love I have ever truly known.

Her absence left a void that I carry with me every day.

Too often, grief is an integral part of many of my clients’ stories.

You don’t overcome grief; it just changes with time, evolving into a different kind of presence that never really leaves.

I lost my mother to substances shortly before her intervention. On that day, I lost a part of myself.

The hardest part of my job is facing the high probability of similar outcomes for others.

This reality weighs heavily on me but has also become the driving force behind my work.

Though I have learned I cannot always prevent these tragedies, I strive to support those who need it.

Video Context: I am playing with my daughter, named after my mother, where her ashes lie. 🦋💫

Confronting our inner demons requires immense courage. The longer we resort to avoidance behaviors, the more overwhelming the reckoning will be when it inevitably arrives.

It’s never too late to change, and your story may empower and inspire transformation in others. When will you begin this journey?

This role requires exceptional strength and dedication. It takes a truly extraordinary person to lift others up, even on days when they struggle to do so themselves.

Personal experience is invaluable, but the joy of assembling a team that embodies our core principles and values fills us with immense pride.

Many can relate to using substances to try and fit in. It’s hard to love who we are without substances to soften the effects of rejection. Loving yourself is a process. You are enough! #selflove #mindfullness #positivepsychology by @stonebridgerecovery
