Took Ruby out for a spin and bath! Good Sunday evening tunes for the ride. I had the Ford fob because I had to move the truck to get her in the garage. #RubyFlarePearl #Ruby #Slipknot #PsychoSocial by @stonecoldmac

Homemade sauce and meatballs for the hood dinner tonight! Had some Angel hair pasta and hard rolls too. I had 20 WW points available so I limited my plate but DAMN was it good. #meatballs #sauce #pecorinoromano #familia 🍷 by @stonecoldmac

I haven’t baked a loaf of sourdough in a hot minute. Took the starter out and fed it for last few days and put her together yesterday. Cooked her this morning! The house smells amazing right now!! by @stonecoldmac

Last day!! Heading home tomorrow. It’s been a perfect 7 days. Good times with James R. Lorei at McGuires for great food and camaraderie! Good water and weather all days but one. On that day we cruised over to Panama City Beach and then had amazing Mexican food at Los Rancheros in Santa Rosa Beach on our way back. by @stonecoldmac

This morning, through lots of tears, we said goodbye to our little buddy, Bentley.

For almost 16 years, he’s been part of our lives. Amanda had him for the first 11 months of his life, and we’ve been lucky enough to have him ever since.

Bentley was the sweetest, quirkiest companion and the biggest love bug. Part Greyhound, he was unbelievably fast. When he was younger he could take off running and clear the fence in a single bound. He also had a lifelong feud with the mail carrier, the trash truck, and just about anyone driving a big truck. Every single morning, without fail, he would sprint the entire fence line, making sure everything was exactly as it should be.

It’s going to be awfully quiet around here, and sweet Toky won’t know what to do without his best friend and favorite snuggle buddy.

Our hearts are broken, but we’re so grateful for every moment, every laugh he’s given us, and every memory over the years.

Fly high, sweet Bentley. You were deeply loved, and you will be missed more than words can ever say. ❤️ by @stonecoldmac
