POSTS STORIES REELS

some years back my mom thrifted this REGAL painting of an ostrich wearing a pearl choker and i was sooo in love with it she let me take it with me when i moved into my first apartment.

AND! the image inspired a poem of mine that got published back in 2023. swipe to enjoy 💌 by @stonedfruuit

rearranging my room—and life! sometimes we must start from scratch.

my bedroom is my joy space. feeling space. sacred space for making my body a better conduit of love.

and for that i need MAXIMAL glorious visual stimulation. every inch of decor must excite me, remind me who i am, what i care about, how good life can feel when i’m grounded in my beauty…cus i forget so easy.

collage, room decor, poetry—they all feel like similar processes of layering sensations/images/emotions to create an experience for self and others.

my bedroom never feels isolating because it is so full of humanity! books, art, thrifted finds, gifts…there are so many stories here to ponder, read, write, dream.

i’m grateful. 💫

may share more vignettes soon 👩🏻‍🏫 by @stonedfruuit
