The Doom Charts Peroration September 2026 “Though I’m past one hundred thousand miles I’m feeling very still And I think the Doom Charts knows which way to go…” ~ misheard David Bowie lyrics Time flies by ever faster. And the faster the world spins, the shorter the lights will glow. But luckily, we have these amazing albums to bring us into a time and space where everything can last forever. Music is an entirely different kind of art, and the only one that can truly do this. Because those sounds, those notes, those rhythms, and those riffs, leaking away from the Earth, will travel through the universe for all time, beyond our comprehension of the very concept of time itself… Below are 18 albums capable of granting you escape velocity. Climb aboard, leave the world behind, and let the music carry you beyond the boundaries of time… This month featuring: 7 WEEKS, Castle, Early Moods, Earth Altar, Equisetum, Exitium Sui, Lume, Mama Doom, Maunah, Mister Earthbound, Moon Destroys, Mortuary Cave, Problem With Dragons, SATURNA, Still Water Zombies, Sub Ruinam, The Well and Villagers of Ioannina City... @doomcharts #peroration #September #monthly #musicchart #heavyunderground by @stonedhive

Adjustable Mustard – Denatured Blue I’m always extremely happy when the postman drops off a package obviously containing a new vinyl record. Completely giddy before opening the package. Even more so when I haven’t ordered one or even expecting one. And to top that feeling, it all turns golden brown when you open the package, put the vinyl on the player, the needle down and hear those warm soulful and fuzzy sounds of Denatured Blue, the new album by the Adjustable Mustard duo…  And with the new Denatured Blue, the Adjustable Mustard two drift deeper into the fuzz-drenched haze of psychedelic rock, without ever losing their soulful sixties glow. But on the new album, the guitars are allowed to bloom like wildflowers and Katie Pitts smoke tinged vocals rise like incense in a room lit by winter sunlight. There are echoes of a long forgotten acid dream here, that is without any doubt that sixties glow that courses through their veins, even though it might feel half remembered, it is still restless and alive in these tunes.  Continues on the HiVe... link in bio... @adjustablemustard @dumpsterdogrecords #albumreview #stonerhive #sixties #Psych #folk by @stonedhive

Till we get to travel to fabled Helldorado once again! Drive your stake through a darkened heart... That wild festival in Eindhoven, the Netherlands where anything can happend and everything will. Ooooooo-ooo-oh yessssssss! Rent paying work keeps interfering, but I guess you all know the deal. Some of it is fun though, and this week will have another cool assignment, hanging out with the guys from DeWolff in their studio. It does mean, less time to HiVe… So, last week we only had time to post about the wild new Stinking Lizaveta and Argentinian doom masters En La Niebla. Besides editing and reposting about that awe inspiring Golem album and scuzzy skater crazies of LáGoon. Hopefully we can post some more this week. Cause listening to the new Phe, Domkraft, Dozer, Steak, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Grok and Black Space Riders damn well get the creative juices flowing! Stinking Lizaveta - Cassandra, Prophet of Doom The reissue of their debut Hopelessness and Shame was magnificent, the tour that followed and their gig at Stoned From The Underground Festival was glorious and the new album continues with that victory march. Yes, thirty years on and the beast refuses to be tamed! Philadelphia’s instrumental power trio Stinking Lizaveta returns with Cassandra, Prophet of Doom, an eight-track slab of beautifully unhinged musical mayhem that proves some things only grow more dangerous with age…  There’s still that off center story telling two step here and there, there’s still that punk spirit whispering through the songs and there’s still an arc and majestic drops to contend with. The guitar is allowed to tell that story, with twists, howls, noodling and pure fire. The bass following the steps or rumbling like subterranean thunder. And Cheshire Agusta’s drums keep the whole magnificent contraption hurtling towards the abyss, or inching towards the edge…  Continues on the HiVe... link in bio... @stinking_lizaveta @good_boypr @srarecords #albumreview ##heavyunderground #stonerhive #instrumental #punk by @stonedhive

Golem – A Tale Of Dust And Tide ... cause five-piece Golem go for the gusto with their first long-play album! For A Tale Of Dust And Tide is definitely that! A long-play album, eighteen tracks, and more than two hours!! You want value for your buck on over on Bandcamp?! Next Bandcamp Friday, is November 6th. Cause wow! Unusually ambitious debut for a relatively obscure underground band right? But you’d better believe that those two hours are jam-packed with tight riffs, wild guitar work and thunderous rhythms. Fuzz-drenched, groovy and catchy these two hours fly by! And as you traverse the Golem universe you will be led through a fantastical world of crusades, wonderous battles and mythological creatures that turn up when you least expect it… A sprawling, immersive journey where ancient tales rise from the dust and the tide carries you ever onward. Ambitious. Absolutely. But Golem make the journey feel effortless, leaving you wanting to turn around and walk back into the haze for another two hours of dusty tales…  More on the blog... link in bio. @golemuyofficial @doomcharts #uruguay #albumreview ##heavyunderground #stonerhive #stonerrock by @stonedhive

En la Niebla - Consuelo del Infortunio Do you hear? Something has awoken. Something ancient seems to stir beneath Consuelo del Infortunio. The new release by Argentinian trio En La Niebla, who lure you into their world of smoke, dancing shadows and slow-burning heat, where fuzz drenched guitars move like spirits and every riff carries primordial dread or at least something devious that has long been buried… Continues on the blog... link in bio... @enlaniebladoom #albumreview #argentina #heavyunderground ##stonerhive #doom by @stonedhive

LáGoon – Forget What You Heard ... Yes! LáGoon return with six rounds of Portland fuzz-damaged lunacy fired straight from the heavy underground and aimed directly at your eardrums! Punk, Doom, Garage, Psych and Stoner collide on Forget What You Heard in pure LáGoon fashion! You know the deal, blown speakers, bad behaviour and wild scuzzy riff worship! You Tried (You Failed) is that languid stoner punk and garage burner, slowly seeping into your veins, spicing up your blood and giving you Skullactic Visions, but not before majestic opener Kill The Messenger already kicked the door off its hinges with some glorious chaos, house burning kind of stoner noise! Once heard, Forget What You Heard, will be in your blood forever… Constantly giving you the itch and the perfect way to satisfy it!  More on the blog. Stoner HiVe’s  Top 10 Most Listened Artists Last Week… Golem Editors Stinking Lizaveta Hostile Tides Matt C. White The Fierce & The Dead The Ocean Polymoon Black Space Riders Plastic Woods It was a wild week and an even wilder weekend! We headed out immediately after the Doom Charts went online. Hence, the later post about it on the HiVe… Still, even though there was limited time, we still managed to get a few little ditties  up and out. First and foremost, we got to premiere the new Erosions single for the Psalm / Erosions split album soon to be released as a first release for the new Space Goat Records. We could not resist mentioning the new A Perfect Circle single, For Whom It May Concern, perhaps simple in execution, it still works, or at least for me… We mentioned the debut by Kurtys Kidd, the new album by Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats, the fantastical Organic Green Monster Machine, the wild Hostile Tides and the smashing new album by Plastic Woods… Not bad for a busy week! Let’s see what happens this week… Hope it will be grand for you all!  More on the blog...link in bio.... #top10 ##mostlistened #weekly #lastweek #stonerhive @golemuyofficial @editorsofficial @plasticwoodsband @stinking_lizaveta @hostiletides @matt_c_white @tfatd @theoceancollective @polymooooon by @stonedhive
