How or why does a rock evoke many different emotions? The appreciation of a stone’s longevity, stability, and natural beauty has even turned into an art form in Japan called Suiseki, where they pick the best naturally formed rock to showcase.
For me, a stone represents an unknown, a mystery; it shows you what it is exactly. I ask what have you been through? For how long? How long did it take for you to be exactly as you are now? It is a time warp, you know it’s gone through change with time but you can’t know all of it’s history.

The unseen is what always peeks my interest, the energy behind what stands beyond the object presented to you.
