Last week, we presented $150,000 in community gifts to nine incredible organizations at our Give Back Bash, and we want to give this community a closer look at who they are. This year’s annual gift partners are AIDS Foundation of Chicago, About Face Theatre, Chicago House, Howard Brown Health, Gerber/Hart LGBTQ+ Library and Archives, Equality Illinois, and Lighthouse Foundation. And we’re closing out a milestone alongside Brave Space Alliance and Center on Halsted, who just completed their three year, $125,000 partnerships with SSC. Thank you to Brave Space Alliance and Center on Halsted for an amazing three years of partnership, and to all of our partners for the work you do every day! Chicago is better for it. Nominations for our 2027 Community Impact Partners are now open. Starting in 2027, our giving is changing. Each of our leagues will choose its own charity partner or partners from the pool of nominations received, with commissioners designing how that selection happens throughout the season. Our board will also select new three year Community Partners for 2027, 2028, and 2029 giving years from the full nomination pool. Here’s where you come in. SSC players, community members, and organizations themselves can all submit a nomination. We’re open to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving humane or humanitarian causes in the Chicago area. If you believe in the work an organization is doing, that’s reason enough to nominate them! Nominations are open now through December 31, 2026. Link in bio to submit by @stonewall_chi
Join Stonewall Sports Chicago at @fathomchicago for our very first Sapphic Mixer and info session. Grab a drink, meet some new people, and tell us what you’d love to see from Stonewall, on the field and off. We’ll kick off with a quick, casual chat about our leagues, what’s missing, and how to get involved as a player, volunteer, or leader. Then it’s all mixing and mingling. Come solo or bring your crew. It’s one hour, it’s low pressure, and it might be the best shot you take all week. Thursday, November 19 5:30 to 6:30 PM Fathom, 1622 W Belmont Ave RSVP at the link in our bio. by @stonewall_chi

📊 Stonewall Sports Chicago: Our 2025 Annual Report What started in 2014 with one sport and 119 players has grown into something pretty incredible: eight sports, thousands of participants, and a community that continues to make an impact well beyond the field, court, alley, and lanes. Our 2025 Annual Report looks back at another year of growth, community, and giving — including $150,000 donated to LGBTQ+ and community organizations across Chicago. That brings Stonewall Sports Chicago’s total giving over the past 12 years to more than $900,000. None of that happens without you. Every registration, every league, every fundraiser, every volunteer, and every participant helps make Stonewall the community it is today. Take a look at the Annual Report to see what you helped make possible. And as we head toward 2027, we’ve got a pretty exciting milestone in sight: $1 million given back to our community. Thank you for playing, volunteering, supporting, and continuing to build Stonewall Sports Chicago with us. #StonewallSportsChicago #StonewallSports #LGBTQChicago #ChicagoSports by @stonewall_chi
Last night was all about giving back. ❤️ At our annual Stonewall Sports Chicago Give Back Bash at Roscoe’s, we celebrated the incredible impact our community makes beyond the field, court, lanes, and boards. Together, our Stonewall Sports Chicago members and leagues raised $150,000 for Chicago-area nonprofit organizations doing important work across our LGBTQ+ community and beyond. This year’s Give Back recipients were: 🏳️‍🌈 Center on Halsted — Youth & Family Services Program 🏳️‍⚧️ Brave Space Alliance 🎭 About Face Theatre ❤️ Howard Brown Health 🏳️‍🌈 Lighthouse Foundation ⚖️ Equality Illinois 📚 Gerber/Hart Library and Archives 🏠 Chicago House ❤️ AIDS Foundation Chicago With this year’s donations, Stonewall Sports Chicago has now given more than $900,000 back to our community over the past 12 years. That impact belongs to every person who played in a league, supported a fundraiser, volunteered, donated, or showed up for our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us last night to celebrate—and to everyone who helped make this possible. Next stop: $1 MILLION. We can’t wait to celebrate that milestone together at next year’s Give Back Bash. #StonewallSportsChicago #GiveBackBash #ChicagoLGBTQ #LGBTQChicago #CommunityThroughSports #GiveBack by @stonewall_chi
