Life behind bars. It’s been 5 years and 30,000 miles with my Yamaha FJ-09, and I’ve learned a lot about myself and this bike in that time. She’s the successor to all the other bikes I’ve owned, from supermoto, to super sport. This sport touring bike has my Heart. Nimble in the canyons. Playful on the streets. Comfy enough to cross state lines and borders with a smile. I think I’ll keep her for a while. As they say at @killerspeedusa “less lip, more rip” by @stony_melfshake

Rest in Peace Judd Neves❤️ I didn’t know how legendary you were when I met you at my first desert race, 6 years ago. Judd was more than a race photographer and a friend. A father, coast guard veteran, and fellow racer himself. From racing through the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s he was truly an ambassador and pioneer of the sport in my eyes. Judd always made me and so many other racers feel welcomed in the desert and had no problem keeping the vibes high and the stoke alive. Reminding us that desert racing isn’t a hobby, it’s a lifestyle. My dad and I always looked forward to chatting with you and supporting your photography. You will be greatly missed by so many.. Here’s some photos of Judd racing back in the day, and some of the amazing shots he got of me trying to be fast. @ama_district_38 won’t be the same without you. Tour de France 2023 will never be forgotten. My mom and I flew to Spain for the surf in Basque Country after visiting family in Poland. The universe blessed us with impeccable timing. The day after we landed in Spain ended up being the first stage of the tour. Not to mention the first time in nearly 30 years that the tour started out in Basque and not France. As a cyclist who got to experience this unplanned, I still feel extremely grateful! We saw the finish line of stage 1 in Donostia/San Sebastián. The next day, we walked 4 hours up a mountain to witness a climbing stage. Thank you mom for sacrificing some surf time to witness this with me. by @stony_melfshake

This years @ama_district_38 King of the Desert race. 3rd place in the 30+ Vet class and 18th overall. @ama_d38_roadrunners marked out a great course. The heat was brutal. Nearly 100 degrees by the end of the 100 mile race. Big Thanks to @killerspeedusa for the badass graphics and years of race prep. Sometimes when the winter lull becomes dull in the skull, I find myself getting creative to impress a local seagull. Like the lion of the sea, I yearn to be free. When the ocean doesn’t provide a ride to glide, the tide can’t hide the happiness inside. Boredom has died. Just like the striped shore crab, there’s always a rock to grab. Reef or granite slab, I’m giving climbing a stab. by @stony_melfshake

More GoPro archives! This was an absolutely rad day. I was in Yosemite a few years back and heard about a mountain bike trail called 007. This was my first and only run down this line. It started with a 2+hour climb on a fire road, up a steep mountain. Of course in the last 1/2 mile, a truck full of mountain bikers rolled up and I caught a ride the rest of the way 🤙 The descent seemed to last forever. From flowy to technical, to switchbacks intertwining through a variety of terrain. This was truly a magical ride and I think I’ll be chasing that dragon for a while. #yosemite #mountainbiking #mtb #gopro #killerspeed by @stony_melfshake
