5th St. Station, Market Frankford line, Time-Capsule 2019.

Sometime in 1974 renovations began in preparation for the bicentennial celebrations. The station’s support columns were wrapped, thus preserving the graffiti at that time.

In 2018 a fresh set of renovations began exposing a visual time-capsule, featuring some of the most influential Philadelphia graffiti writers, Hip City Swingers.
