STOP & GET INFORMED EST. 2014 🚫

The recent news story headlines about Carlee Russell prompted me to share the major points that are positive. Although, facts are free to the public to research, many people were appreciative of the knowledge they gained from learning about human trafficking. Although force is not the ONLY way a person can be victimized, there are victims who were lured by strangers & forced into captivity without their consent. I’m proud of how the community came together to share this story, sent prayers, & educated themselves on how to be more vigilant in their environments to ensure their loved ones are safe & protected. There are many missing children, women, & men who deserve the be advocated for. Instead of judge one another, we have to continue to support, uplift, educate, inform, & advocate for the voiceless, the victims, & the people who sadly cannot return home. I wanted to share this to encourage us to look at the positives of every situation & not focus on the negatives. FOLLOW @stopandgetinformed for more human trafficking statistics, safety tips, prevention methods, awareness information, & modern day slavery facts

STOP & GET INFORMED EST. 2014 🚫beginning in 2014, I’ve hosted balloon releases & silent protests after my forum speeches on college campuses, high schools, churches, community centers, in different states in the US by bringing others together in solidarity to honor human trafficking victims all over the world. It’s a common misconception that human trafficking victims are never rescued, this is not true. There are many organizations that are able to reunite victims with their families & loved ones.

FOLLOW @stopandgetinformed FOR TRAFFICKING STATISTICS, AWARENESS FACTS, PREVENTION METHODS, & SAFETY TIPS. HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH & IS AN INTERNATIONAL AWARENESS ISSUE THAT IS GENERATING NEARLY 50 MILLION PER YEAR. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS EVERYWHERE GLOBALLY‼️ It’s not to place fear, its to ensure we have enough awareness to prevent this from happening. We have to continue to share statistics, facts, research, & data as this is a crucially serious international issue. I WILL ALWAYS ADVOCATE, SPREAD AWARENESS, & TEACH PREVENTION METHODS FOR US TO END MODERN DAY SLAVERY 🚫 taken in South Carolina by @stopandgetinformed
