I first walked into High Ride as a rider back in 2018 (my first class was with the bada*s herself, @megan_hansonn !!) True to my Aries impulsiveness, I was hooked and signed up after that class. The adrenaline was fun, but it was the COMMUNITY that kept me coming back. Taking the time to get to know me by name, having my studio + personal life milestones celebrated, and feeling supported through nursing school and the start of my career. High Ride has always felt like home 🥹🫶🏽 it brings me a kind of joy that’s hard to explain. The warmth of a space where you’re TRULY seen, the shared energy in the room, and the reminder that movement can be both powerful + fun… It’s connection, creativity, and belonging.

In late 2022, after a bit of encouragement from my friend and fellow rider @karrenbp, I decided to audition (even though I had never taught group fitness before… again, Aries energy lol) To my surprise, I was hired and began teaching in early 2023, right as I was *starting* my career in nursing. As my knowledge and the patients I cared for intensified, I realized I couldn’t give my full energy to both, and in late 2023 I made the tough decision to step away from teaching and fully focus on my career.

Now, nearly three years in, I feel more grounded and confident + I realized I still had a piece missing that would be in me full joy and fulfillment… the creativity ✨ Blasting music that lights me TF up, choreo combos that fuel me + the unmatched HIGH RIDE HIGH of riding bikes in the dark that go nowhere!!

I’m so excited to be back teaching at High Ride and stepping into this next chapter with my whole heart 🫀 I can’t wait to ride, sweat, tap it back, + create magic with you all in our second home.

(last pic is January 2019 + I STILL have that damn Hydroflask 😂)

took a chance on Roundup River Ranch this summer ✨ and ended up having one of the most meaningful, joy-filled experiences of my life and career so far 🥹

working in critical care, I often meet kids during some of the hardest moments of their lives, so getting to see them outside of that world laughing, running around, making friends, and simply getting to be kids was incredibly special. 🫶🏽

being tucked away in the mountains, far from the noise and pace of the city, filled my cup more than I realized I needed. Between fishing, zip lining, horseback riding, stage night, camp songs, endless laughter, and hanging out with some of the funniest and coolest kids around, I was reminded exactly why I do what I do.

two weeks there (which was definitely not enough time) gave me joy, perspective, a few happy tears, and a VERY full heart. Camp magic is real, and I can’t wait for my next go around the roundup 🏕️🤍✨ by @stopdropand.raul

The Courage Classic is more than just a bike ride, it’s a chance to support the incredible patients, families, and programs at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps provide lifesaving care, groundbreaking research, and hope for kids facing some of life’s toughest challenges. ❤️🚴‍♂️

If you’re able, please consider donating. LINK IS IN MY BIO! And if you can’t donate, sharing this video and fundraiser link goes a long way and helps us reach even more people. Thank you for supporting these amazing heart warriors! ❤️

I ride in the #CourageClassic for kiddos like Hunter. He (and many others) inspire me to continue working in the field that I do because of the resilience, courage, and determination they show during some of the toughest times of their lives. Please consider donating to help me reach my goal of $2,000, sharing to increase outreach, or simply liking and commenting to stay up to date with his story (and many others!)
