In late 2025, Meta launched Content Protection for creators to safeguard their original works. Please take advantage of this feature to help protect against the misuse of your videos by scammers. This tool enables you to efficiently monitor and manage the distribution of your content across Meta’s platforms. By setting up alerts and automatic takedowns for unauthorized uses, you won’t have to waste energy worrying about infringement. Scammers weaponize your compassion—then steal the very funds meant to feed, shelter, and save the animals you care about. Don’t let them profit from your kindness. by @stopfakerescues
Introducing the Stop Fake Rescues YouTube Channel! With the help of another YouTube channel, we are working together to expose fraudulent channels and hopefully get them removed from the platform. YouTube has a three-strike copyright policy. When a channel receives three valid copyright strikes within the applicable time period, it can be permanently terminated. How can content owners help? If you are the original owner of videos or images being used on YouTube without your permission, particularly by fraudulent rescue channels, we would love your help! There are two ways you can participate: A. Submit your own Copyright Removal Request. We can contact you with information about where your content is being used so you can submit a copyright removal request directly to YouTube. B. Give us written permission to submit requests on your behalf. You can email us at stopfakerescues2025@gmail.com stating that you authorize us to submit copyright removal requests for your original content that is being used by scam channels. Any requests will need to comply with YouTube’s copyright requirements and authorization procedures. Have a suspicious YouTube channel you’d like us to investigate? You can submit YouTube channels for review through the submission form available on our Linktree. by @stopfakerescues
🚨 SCAM WARNING — PLEASE SHARE! 🚨 ⚠️ rescue4paws.org is being reported for allegedly stealing animal rescue content and presenting the dogs as their own for adoption. Please be extremely cautious and do your due diligence before trusting any animal rescue website. Never rush into providing personal information, sending copies of your identification, or making payments without thoroughly verifying that the organization is legitimate. 🚩 Scammers are becoming increasingly deceptive, stealing photos and videos from legitimate rescues and animal networkers to make their operations appear authentic. They prey on people’s compassion and love for animals to obtain personal information and fraudulently take their money. 💔 Don’t let your desire to save an animal make you a target for scammers. Take the time to verify the rescue, confirm the dog’s identity, and independently check the organization’s legitimacy before proceeding with an adoption or donation. 🐾 Protect yourself. Protect your money. Protect legitimate rescues and the animals they work so hard to save. 📢 Please share this warning! #scam #stolencontent #fakeaccount #fraud #onlinescam by @stopfakerescues
