According to Colin, the biggest problem with the wine industry is that the entry-level “swill” is so bad it actually scares people away from the drink entirely. While a Bud Light might be simple, it doesn’t make you “hate yourself”—but this Shiraz might be a different story.

Cheap beer is cheap and pretty boring, but cheap wine can be pretty bad.
