Build-in-public moment: testing an extra product options plugin, we found a hazard in our own app. A product had a required option field, and a native add-to-cart skipped it without a word.

The fix: optioned products now open your store's own product page, where the field is collected and enforced. Tier 2, by design. We'd rather send a shopper to the right page than sell them the wrong thing.

If anything outside your WooCommerce store needs to quote shipping (an app, a feed, a calculator), this matters:

Flat rate, free shipping and local pickup can be quoted reliably. Cost formulas, table-rate and carrier plugins, and continent-level zones can't.

In StoreToNative, anything outside the left column goes to your store's own checkout, which prices it correctly. A wrong quote costs more than a slower one.
