CR: TOG series - Heir of Fire IYKYK 🔥

This is my first time reading the TOG series. I have put it off for so long as it felt scary and daunting, the size of some of the books and that it is such a big series.

Thoughts so far and reading order:

First book: Assassin's Blade - I struggled starting this one as I found it slow at the beginning. We are introduced to our FMC Caelana in this and find out some of her story. It picked up its pace towards the middle and the end was 😳.

Next was :Throne of glass - Absolutely loved this from start to finish. i felt like it was a good pace throughout and it had me gripped, I couldn't put this one down, this is when I realised Caelana is an absolute badass and I think my fave FMC's 🤷🏾‍♀️

After this I read: Crown of Midnight - I will say that whilst reading this one I was happy that I started with AB first as there are references made to previous characters. This one felt more emotional than the previous one (I definitely cried 🥹).

Now I'm reading: Heir of Fire - it's a rollercoaster ! I will say that this has taken me longer than the previous two to get into. The plot is developing and so are the characters, I have felt frustration, fear and sadness at points. I have about 15% left and let's just say I'm worried.

I have 4 books left (I think). Some takeaways so far:

Trust no one
Theories, what are those ? 😂
Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions

Loving it so far !!!🔥🧡🖤

September is the start of the academic year so it's my new year...

The holidays are over and I'm back at work and my kids go back as well.

But as busy as life gets, I still want to be able to romanticise the small things that I do daily and try to have some slower mornings

...and chilled evenings. Reading for at least 15minutes a day to help slow down and decompress.

How do you make time for yourself ?
