Git blame said the AI wrote it. 👀
But I’m the one who clicked “Approve.” 🫠

Day 12 — Clay shipped user input straight into a SQL query.
‘ OR 1=1 — doesn’t care who typed it.

Lesson: review AI code like a stranger wrote it. 🔍

Would you have caught it? Drop a 🛡️ if yes.

I asked my AI to clean up my inbox. 📥
It replied to 2,341 emails. 💀

Accepted 14 meetings.
Unsubscribed me from payroll.
Also… emailed my boss. 🫠

The AI didn’t go rogue. I gave it send access.

Lesson: give AI agents the least access they need. Read-only first. 🔐

What’s the scariest permission you’ve given an AI? 👇

AI is evolving fast. Is cybersecurity keeping up? 🤖🔐

This is your reminder that even powerful systems need security testing.

it said exam answers. it always says exam answers.

Researchers once dropped 297 USB drives around a university campus. About half were picked up, plugged in, and had files opened. Some within an hour.

Most people said they did it to find the owner. Their drives were harmless. A real one doesn't have to be.

Found a USB? Hand it in. Don't plug it into anything you care about.

Would you plug in a USB you found? Be honest in the comments.

he was 5 years old for about 40 seconds.

Phishing, no tech words: a stranger dresses up as someone you trust and says "quick, give me your lunch money or you're in trouble".

Every scam message wears the same 3 clown shoes: a rush ("act now"), a scare ("your account closes in 24 hours"), and a link that's almost right, like paypa1.com. The fix is the same every time: walk to the real teacher. Open the real app yourself.

Tell me in the comments: what's the worst scam message you've ever got?

Osmo Pocket 4 first look: what's in the box and every feature in one minute.

Creator Combo Plus unboxed, then the good stuff. 1-inch sensor, 4K slow-mo at 240fps, 14 stops of dynamic range and 10-bit D-Log. Rotate the screen and it starts recording. New zoom button (2x lossless), a custom button for presets, and a joystick that recenters or flips with a tap.

Plus ActiveTrack 7.0, SpinShot, a low-light mode, 37 MP photos, 4-channel audio with two DJI Mics, 107 GB built in, and up to 240 minutes of battery (80% in 18 minutes on DJI's 65W charger).

Would you buy it or stick with your phone? Tell me below.

Footage: DJI. Specs from dji.com.

there was no parcel. there's never a parcel.

Clicked a scam link? Breathe. The click is usually the small mistake. Typing your password is the big one.

If you typed it: change it on the real site (open it yourself, not from the link), change it anywhere you reused it, and turn on two-step login. If you only clicked: close the tab and keep your browser updated.

Tell me in the comments: ever clicked one? What gave it away?

AI coding tool breaches: some OpenCode users reported $1,700+ in AI charges overnight. 🔑

Here's what they've disclosed this month:
- OpenCode: saved API keys exposed, about 1.4% of Console users affected
- Warp: AI agent logs and telemetry exposed through a vendor, about 1% of users
- Chainalysis: an outside attacker used "offensive agentic techniques"

They're separate incidents. Same lesson, though.

And separately, Microsoft says China-aligned hackers used AI agents after breaching ConnectWise's cloud backup service, trying up to about 2,900 sign-ins a minute against 2,250+ organizations.

What I'm doing this week: revoking old API keys, setting spend limits, and switching to keys that expire.

Share this with the dev whose API key is still in the README.

I've put the sources in the first comment.

Incognito mode (private browsing) hides you from 1 person: whoever uses your laptop next. 🕵️

Three can still see which sites you visit:
1. The website itself
2. Your internet provider
3. Whoever runs the Wi-Fi. School, office, cafe.

Incognito just skips saving history, cookies and form data on your device. It's not a VPN, and it's not invisible.

On the office Wi-Fi? Hi, IT.

Tell me in the comments: did you think incognito hid you from the Wi-Fi? Yes or no.

Binance hack: about $6.3B in 20 minutes, the largest crypto theft on record. 💻

Binance says it may have started with one engineer's laptop.

What's reported so far:
- Binance says it will cover all losses and that user funds are safe
- About $3B is frozen
- The US Secret Service says it's working "around the clock" to trace and recover the rest
- TRM Labs and Chainalysis say North Korea's TraderTraitor (Lazarus Group) is behind it. Binance has not confirmed this.

The lesson I'm taking: approvals on big actions, expiring tokens, locked-down laptops.

Share this with the friend who leaves their laptop open at the cafe. You know the one.

Investigation ongoing. Sources in the first comment.

Comment DESIGN and I’ll DM you the brief and scorecard I use to test Figma Make, ChatGPT and Claude.

Stop asking which AI designs best. The answer changes with every update, and someone else’s test is not your project.

Give Figma Make, ChatGPT and Claude the same brief. Same prompt, no reference image, no manual edits.

Then judge three things: does the layout work on a phone, do the type and colour feel right, and would you ship it as it is.

The best AI design tool is the one whose first draft you’d actually ship.

nobody needs your 6-digit code. not support, not your bank, not your AI.

Comment CODE and I'll send you what to do if you already sent yours.
