Ram Lakhan Sita Man Basiya...

Ram represents Self-Knowledge. Lakshman represents Vairagya - detachment. Sita is Bhakti and Shanti - devotion and inner peace.

So “Rama Lakhan Sita man basiya” also means Hanuman carries Knowledge, Detachment, and Devotion within himself.

So the next time you chant Hanuman Chalisa, it is a reminder to awaken these three treasures within us: Knowledge, Detachment, and Devotion.

Experience the power of Hanuman Chalisa on the occasion of Chinmaya Movement’s 75th Year at the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsava.
108 Samashti Sri Hanuman Chalisa Havan on 1st February 2026, Sunday, 9am to 2pm, at MMRDA ground in BKC, Mumbai.
