Competing isn’t about the outcome. It’s about deliberately putting yourself in uncomfortable positions to learn faster. In business, we prototype to improve. It’s high-speed feedback and compressed growth. This is the same thing.

The process forces your attention into the present. A clarity you don’t often feel in this noisy digital world. Just you, your opponent, and what you’ve built.

For me, it’s like a live experiment in fear, identity, and resilience.

If you’re deep into your #bjj journey and haven’t yet competed, I highly recommend it.

Episode one, “Making of Hide & Seek”: The Invitation. Out now.

Saying the dream out loud is one thing.

Asking people to believe in it before there’s anything to show them is another.

We all have a dream we’ve been too scared to say out loud.

Here’s mine: to do what others only dare to wish for.

It takes vulnerability to say it, and bravery to let people watch.

What’s yours? Let it out of the cage.

This is the teaser. Episode one - “Making of Hide & Seek” is out Monday 5th October. by @storyofwill

Some things move quietly, others announce themselves. Both get where they’re going.

An animal can be a companion, a creature, a confidant. Along the way, it’s in our hands to make their lives just as rich as what they bring to ours.

What is the role of an artist, a collaborator, a woman, who builds quietly through connection?

Perhaps sometimes it’s about reading the room before anyone else does. About showing up with intention, asking sharp questions, and letting the work speak.

Finding ways to channel our energy fuels more than wellbeing and longevity. It sharpens creative thinking.

The camaraderie between people on the mat is something you don’t come across often in a hyper-connected digital world.

The feeling is second to none. Happy birthday @just1bjj
