COMPTON STAND UP!!! I was selected as a student speaker for this year's commencement ceremony @csun_edu and did the damn thing! What an honor!!!!✨️🥂 But seriously, I'm so proud and grateful for the opportunity not only to speak, but also to speak on topics like systemic oppression, and imposter’s syndrome. Even more than that I'm ecstatic to have been the voice for my city, my people, my department, my friends and family. I miss you everyday @mommajoe57. SEPTEMBER 15, 2014 happened and boom just like that #nwts. So many moments you've missed, changes and stages I've gone through, countless tears that still seem to flow like you left just yesterday...oooof today is ALWAYS hard. I wish you were here, because crying like a baby and wanting my mommy at my big ass age comes with so much emptiness so much realization that there were so many laughs we didn't get to have, so much time we didn't get to finish spending, so many hugs I didn't get to have, because no matter how hard I cry and wish you were earthside that'll never be the case.
