MAS2026 was amazing! A bit sweaty and super dusty, but it was a blast!
We would like to thank the organisers of @miatasatsummertime again and of course our friends (even those who came all the way from Switzerland) for making this weekend so memorable 🥰✌️

So, it's been a little quiet around here. I've been getting a few questions as to what happened with the car and the engine.

Well, last August, on the way to get the car inspected, the engine decided it didn't wanna engine no more. The bearings for the #1 cilinder gave up on life, and made one hell of a racket.

Dropped the engine off at @hummelink_modifications yesterday, it'll get rebuild with better bearings, forged rods, new pistons, and a boundary engineering oil pump.

It sucks, but the engine will be better for it. When spring rolls around, we'll get the car inspected again, and hopefully this time, without a major engine failure 🥲 by @stoutenwouter
