✈️ Well, our trip to Zambia didn’t exactly start according to plan! 😂

Before we even left DFW, we were delayed on the plane for TWO HOURS, which meant we missed our connecting flight in Istanbul… and suddenly we found ourselves “stranded” in Istanbul for 2 nights and 1½ days. 😅

No need to stress, though, we decided to make the most of it! We explored the beautiful city, ate some amazing food, saw incredible sights, and quickly realized that being “stuck” in Istanbul wasn’t exactly the worst problem to have. 😂🇹🇷

Two days was definitely NOT enough time to see this stunning city. In fact, I have to admit… I’m just a little bit happy we missed that flight! 😉❤️

So incredibly thankful for the privilege of serving alongside Coty, Craig, and the BMMI team in Livingston, Zambia this July! ❤️ What a blessing it was to see firsthand the incredible work God is doing through the Quillmans and Phiris and to witness His faithfulness in the lives of so many.

I’m especially grateful for our amazing medical team this year, there was truly never a dull moment! 😂 So many memories, so much laughter, and even more evidence of God’s goodness.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23

Happy Father’s Day to the best dad our kids could have ever asked for. ❤️

You have faithfully taught them to love the Lord, and to embrace life with joy and adventure. You’ve shown them the value of hard work, the courage to take good risks, and the confidence to chase the dreams God has placed in their hearts.

Through every season, you have been their biggest cheerleader encouraging them, believing in them, and standing by them no matter what. The love, wisdom, and example you have given Caleb, Bradey, and Aubrie will impact them for the rest of their lives.

Watching you be their dad has been Amazing! We love LOVE you soooo much!!

Thirty years ago, as freshman in college, God brought a friendship into my life that would become one of my greatest blessings.

She stood beside me as my maid of honor, and I had the joy of standing beside her on her wedding day. She was there when my children entered the world, and I was there when hers did too. My three kids were her flower girl and ring bearers, and now, nearly three decades later, she celebrated another milestone with our family as she attended Bradey & Lylah’s wedding.

What a gift it is to have a friend who has walked through so many seasons of life with unwavering love, faithfulness, and grace. Through laughter, tears, celebrations, and challenges, she has been a constant reminder of God’s kindness.

Some friendships are rare treasures, and ours is one I will never take for granted. I am so thankful for the countless memories we’ve shared and for the privilege of experiencing so many of life’s biggest moments together.

Thirty years later, and I am still grateful for the girl I met in college who became family. ❤️ What a blessing true friendship is. Love you Deb! by @stoverlife
