Special season for the Shamrocks. 29-8. Super-Sectional Champions. 3rd place finish downstate. A school record for wins caps off a special four-year run for the Class of 2025, who finish with 97 wins over four years, including a 55-18 run the last two seasons. They were a part of 3 Sectional championships and the school’s first ever trip downstate. We are going to miss these guys! Thank you to Anthony Favia, EJ Breland, Nathan Nano, Cooper Kavanaugh, Nevaeh Hawkins, and Kacper Kwela for everything. #ShamrockPride by @stpatrickhoops

About a month ago, Mr. Breland called me wanting to get his son EJ in the gym. Having coached high school basketball while EJ was coming up, I already knew all about him. He was a star back then, and I’d wanted the opportunity to work with him for a while. It took us some time to finally put it together, but it was well worth the wait.

EJ killed the workout. He came in hungry, in incredible shape, and eager to learn. After playing at Pitt State last season, he made the decision to bet on himself and take the JUCO route. That takes a certain level of confidence and maturity, and after working with him, I understand why he made that bet. I have no doubt he’ll finish his college career playing at a Power 5 school.

You also don’t have to spend much time around EJ to understand where a lot of it comes from. His father, Tyshon, played Division I basketball himself. He was a great player, but what stood out to me even more was the father he is. The character, integrity, and manners he’s instilled in his son are evident, and the relationship they have is special. He’s a great example for all dads.

I’m excited to be a part of EJ’s journey and even more excited to continue building my relationship with both of them.

Timaris is a silent killer. Doesn’t waste many words, but you can tell he plays basketball just by looking at him. At 6’5”, he has a great frame, is super talented, and can score in any way.

A 2x All-State player and sectional champion, he’s well-decorated to say the least. I’m excited to see him continue his career at the pro level!
