Diocese of Florida Youth T-Shirt Fundraiser for Camp Weed!

Our youth across the Diocese of Florida are coming together to support Camp Weed! This Christmas season, high school youth will gather at St. Peter’s for a lock-in and spend the night helping park cars during Fernandina Beach’s downtown Christmas event—all to raise funds for Camp Weed.

Tonight was a beautiful reminder that community is something we build together. ❤️

Our youth didn’t want to leave—they wanted to hang out after hours! And honestly, that’s one of the sweetest signs of connection.

Tonight we talked about being good stewards of our time, treasure, and talents and how God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve His church.

Through a spiritual gifts questionnaire, our youth explored gifts like administration, hospitality, shepherding, discernment, leadership, and more—and began seeing how their gifts can make a difference.

Sunday night EYC! Tonight we continued breaking down our mission statement believe. Our lesson focused on living out worship through our actions, choices, boundaries, and truth. That liturgy is “the work of the people.”

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and today we recognize 988 Day.

This past Sunday some of our high school youth volunteered to participate in sharing an important message: you are not alone, you are loved, and it’s okay to ask for help.

As a church community, may we continue to look out for one another, check in on our friends and neighbors, and create spaces where everyone knows they are seen, loved, and supported.

St. Peter's is here for you. You don't have to face the hard moments alone. Wheather you need someone to listen, pray with you, or simply sit beside you - we're here. by @stpeterseyc
