It’s finally feeling like autumn here in New York and I’m thrilled. Today’s featured necklace is a pop of pink and rose.

I have never worked with aragonite before but fell in love with this cut and its subtle shades of yellow and grey. Smooth round pale pink aragonite works its way from the middle to the end I also added heishi thulite beads which are the prettiest shades of deep rose red with lots of personality. Knotted on chocolate brown thread and finished with a 14k gold spring ring clasp and last but definitely not least, 3 beautiful 14k gold and pavé diamond spikes and a thick 14k gold bead asymmetrically placed. I hope you love her as much as I do.

I’ve been creating jewelry for about 26 years and this was a first for me and I am so excited to share it with you.

My client had a watch chain from her father and envisioned a charm necklace. I needed to extend the length of the chain with more chain and very selectively chose the charms to attach to the chain. The focal pendant was custom designed in a Georgian style with a lab grown round diamond and an oxidized rim. The other charms are diamond, 18k gold and a blue sapphire.

This project was a process and I really enjoyed it. I have always incorporated beads in my work and this time it was metal heaven.
My client said “this has exceeded all of my expectations” and we all know that validation is priceless.

Hello Sunday!

It’s been a crazy week so I am happy to decompress today.

Behold this gorgeous smooth multi-colored smooth sapphire spike necklace in the most beautiful pastel colors. I strung them on beading wire and placed a faceted multicolored sapphire roundels in between each spike. This was quite the labor intensive design given the teeny tiny beads😵‍💫!

She is 20” long and has a small 18k bezel set diamond to add a wee bit of sparkle. Finished with a 14k gold lobster clasp.

As you can see from the many photos the colors of the sapphires remain lovely, soft and feminine, no matter the lighting. So tempted to keep it for myself but I am sending it out into the universe.

Who will be the lucky stiff that makes this one of a kind beauty hers??!! 😉

Happy Wednesday!

I was so excited to procure 2 more strands of this spectacular aquamarine and tourmaline faceted tube shaped gems. They are crystal clear.
Every stone has been laid out with intention. There are 2 14k rubies roundels placed asymmetrically, which is kind of a @strandedjewels styling signature.

It is hand knotted on forest green silk and finished with a 10k spring ring clasp -looks just like 14k gold but less costly.

Casting a little gratitude to my loyal client. This dear client must have 40-50 pieces from @strandedjewels. Ms C has not only been a collector for her own jewelry wardrobe, she has also purchased many gifts for family members and friends as well.

As most of you designers know, it is the greatest gift to have someone repeatedly love our designs and ideas and purchase them and add them to their collection. It’s the best feeling. So validating, feeds my soul.

Here are just a small sampling of the many pieces I have created for my dear friend and client @cmwlawlor.

Thank you for the trust, thank you for loving my designs and thank you for wearing them so elegantly. I am grateful.

Good day my friends🌻

Today’s feature is a variation of a classic pearl necklace.

Baby keshi pearls strung on beading wire with stations of colorful gemstones with 18k gold head pins. I am obsessed with these small and delicate pearls. Each one is so tiny and when I string them all together they have such a substantial and modern look. She is 16 1/4” long with a 14k spring ring clasp.
Great for layering or on its own. I have made 2 for myself so I approve this necklace👌!

I am so excited to share these new Satellite Collection pendants with you. They are each one of a kind pendants with Arizona turquoise disks, some thin and some thicker but no 2 are alike. They are about 13-14mm and are adorned with 18k gold findings and are lightweight.

A nice size ring holds it all together so you can easily slip one onto a chain or a small strand of beads.

I had a lot of fun putting these together using the perfect findings to make each pendant really unique and wonderful. They remind me of little satellites, hence the Satellite Collection name;)

I only have 3 right now but I have many more so I’m hoping these will “fly” to their forever homes so I can create more of them.

Hello to all of you out there in insta land! It’s been a while. Crickets I say!! So quiet😐!

Today I am featuring this gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous) heishi lapis lazuli necklace with sleeping beauty turquoise and orange spiny oyster shells. The beads are 3mm and cut so beautifully.

The centerpiece is an 18k converted earring with a smooth coin shaped sleeping beauty turquoise. She measures 16” in length and finished with a 14k spring ring clasp.

Great for layering or on its own and I don’t know about you but turquoise is an all season stone for me.

It’s a very rainy day here in NY so let’s bring on the color!

Traveling today to visit my son in Germany and of course I had to make myself a “going away” necklace.
Please tell me that y’all do that before vacation!!!

These are stunning untreated Padpardascha sapphires with 22k gold beads sprinkled throughout. I took apart a necklace to use these gorgeous gold beads. The larger sapphires are heat treated which is something I rarely buy but I thought that for myself, they were ok to use and I think they have a lovely pop of color, so there!

They will easily pair well with my current coral obsession!

Just wanted to pop on and save myself from the dreaded algorithm.

Will do my usual story thing.

New pieces coming in September. Stay tuned!
