After my third baby, I knew it would be my last. I decided I wanted a change. Honestly, I didn’t even know where to start.

I always dreaded PE. I dreaded anything that involved working out. I had tried the gym, even personal training, because I knew I wasn’t someone who could just walk into a gym and motivate myself to do it. I needed guidance. And still, I never stuck with it. One time, I even paid for a whole year of LA Fitness and never stepped foot inside. 😂

Then, with the encouragement of some friends, I took my very first spin class. I never could have imagined that one class would completely change my perspective and, honestly, my way of living.

I never thought working out would become such a big part of my life or part of my daily routine, but I’m so grateful it did.

Of course, seeing the number on the scale go down is nice, but there’s something so much better about putting on clothes and feeling good in them. (It took me over two years to build the courage to wear a sports bra) 🙈 Feeling strong. Feeling confident. Creating healthy habits and showing my daughters — and anyone who’s been watching — that it can be done.

It’s not easy. There are days when it’s hard, but it is soooooo rewarding. ❤️

I’ve met some truly amazing people along the way. I look forward to my workouts every day. I look forward to seeing the same faces, struggling together, pushing each other, and celebrating how far we’ve all come.

What started as something I never thought I’d enjoy has become something I genuinely look forward to.

I’m so proud of the person I’ve become through this journey — and even more proud that my daughters get to see me choose myself, stay committed, and keep going.

If you’re thinking about starting, start. You don’t have to know exactly what you’re doing. You just have to take that first step. ❤️
