Entity is a digital being shaped by frequency, rendered through a fully custom pipeline blending virtual reality, real-time animation, and reactive lighting. It is a meditation on transformation, ritual, and digital divinity. A phase of these works closes here, yet the path forward continues to evolve. by @strangcg

🌀Echo🌀 VR painting, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine ~90 DMX fixtures, synced to “Snake Oil” – Glass Beams Created by: @strangcg A central mandala radiates outward, echoed by smaller forms in a staggered, symmetrical flow. Petals were painted in Tilt Brush (VR), then arranged and animated in Cinema 4D. Lighting is controlled by a custom DMX system in Unreal Engine, feeding real-time data into the material shaders. by @strangcg

Two chambers joined by a narrow passage, time flowing between them. A moving camera drifts through unfolding petal structures, animated in Cinema 4D. Lighting is driven by an early version of a custom DMX system, feeding real-time data into the materials themselves. by @strangcg

Started 2023 on a high note by creating immersive stage environments for @sza ’s SOS tour! I am so proud of what the @immanent_vj team put together, and it was a pleasure working alongside the talented @humanprsn crew. Hearing how positively the show has been received makes all of our hard work worth it tenfold! The first leg of the tour is over, but SZA just announced that they will be extending the tour to include Europe and a second leg in the US. It is impossible to show how dynamic and stunning this show is without seeing it in person, so go check out one of her upcoming shows if you can. Nightmare on Rezz Street 2 at Red Rocks was insane 🤯 Seeing the project live with Pyro, Lights, Lasers and of course @officialrezz in such a beautiful venue really tied it all together. Thanks @crmacneill for the opportunity to be a part of the show! @sophialicher and I are engaged!! 😍💍🎉 ⠀ I proposed to Sophia at sunset with the lake behind us, and then at the end of @clozeeofficial ‘s set she played a visual that I made for Sophia 🥰 Thank you to everyone that helped in coordinating these special moments. ⠀ The visual is Sophia and I sitting at a bench with our dog Nina by our side, looking out towards the creek in Sedona, AZ. We painted the pedals of the mandala together in VR years ago. It was so special to watch it on the Thunder stage with our friends and celebrate our engagement at @libfestival ⚡️💍🎉💃🏼 taken in Lightning in a Bottle by @strangcg
