Another dreary day here, but I don’t mind one bit because it’s my day of self care 💆🏼‍♀️No kiddos and no work. What do you do to treat yourself? I made a Walmart run, and made the most amazing gluten free/dairy free pumpkin pancakes 🥞 Head over to my stories for the recipe and to see my cozy haul from Wally World. This shot is last weeks sunset, same vibes as today, only less sun 🍁 by @strangefarmhouse

🐫 day! I keep reading that barn doors are soooo out now. I’m like huh? Who decides this things? Do they know how satisfying it is to open and close doors on tracks? Do they know how well they can hide a mess on the other side? Do they know they are all gorgeous? Let me talk to ‘em 😂 by @strangefarmhouse

What do you think, do you keep your kitchen simple at Christmas, or do you go all out? Swipe over the see our family window art project currently in the works!

Throwback to Christmas past in our kitchen. Some years it is picture perfect, other years it is just real life, and that is ok.

Save this for the year you need permission to do less and enjoy it more.

Are you team simple Christmas kitchen, or team all out? Tell me below.

What do you think of black windows? We are still team black windows around here. I love how they frame our house. The view from the back windows is one of my favorite things about this house. Are you team black windows, or do you prefer white? Tell me below, I am curious what you would pick for your own home.

Because sharing is caring, I REALLY hope this finds the people who were asking 💁🏻‍♀️Anywho these stools have been great for us the last 8 years they have survived in my wild house from puppy teething to countless messy family dinners.
