SUBMERGE is the first print issue of Strange Seas, exploring the feeling of being submerged in both the ocean and the culture surrounding action sports. It contains stories, photographs, essays, interviews and art from contributors from all over the world. 
After months of writing, photographing, designing, editing, and figuring out how to make this magazine exist in the physical world, it feels special to finally be able to share it with you.

In Lofoten, many people don’t just live by the sea they live from it.

Angelita Eriksen, co-owner of @lofotenseaweed grew up with a fisherman father. She now works in the marine food sector, harvesting and producing seaweed products from the waters that shaped her childhood.
