POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Dear Kentucky State University,

Thank you for helping me grow into the man I am today. I will forever be grateful for all the memories, life lessons, relationships, and opportunities KSU has given me because they changed my life and gave me the chance to achieve the greatness my Paw Paw instilled in me at a young age, while becoming a reflection of what Black excellence truly looks like. I will forever carry my Thorobred pride and legacy with me everywhere I go.

Serving as the 32nd Mister KSU has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Watching a dream I’ve had since freshman year become reality, surrounded by people who believed in me, is a feeling I’ll never forget. Every accomplishment means more because of the people who supported and pushed me along the way, especially my family, friends, and of course my Thorobred family, who stood by me every step of the way.

To everyone who became a part of my journey — thank you for loving me, believing in me, pushing me, and growing with me. I love each and every one of you and I hope everybody gets “kissed by the sun Ahahah”. This chapter may be ending, but this is only the beginning of something great.

With love,
Robert Dorsey

Sometimes we just need that extra push! Nobody is perfect, but no matter what you do in life or what position you’re in, keep going! Keep pushing, keep growing, and keep believing in yourself!!🔥
