No fuel bill, no maintenance, no electronics, no trailer, no insurance or registration needed. My favorite aspect of paddleboard fishing is the simplicity of it. Mutton snapper and black grouper were my two goals for our family keys trips this year. Having never caught either, we were going to need a bit of luck. And as luck would have it, my nephew @teeganstrahlo042 (who likes fishing the least) stayed committed and landed this nice one from the deep. I fell in trying to land it when it floated up between the motors. A catch I’ll never forget. NOT AI. No live bait needed. Never in my life have I seen or even heard of someone catching a wild snook bare handed. We were camping in St Augustine when my nephew @kamdenstrahlo spotted a snook sitting on the bank while bike riding. He managed to sneak up on it without it spooking. He jokingly went to grab it and shockingly the snook let him. If only snook fishing was always that easy. Anyone else ever pull this off before? #darkseas #snook #nolivebaitneeded by @straylow
