Wu-Wei. Ended up here by chance, stayed with intention. Felt held, hugged by the sun and moon, fed with wholesome food, and nourished by body and ancient wisdom.

Yin is so much more than staying in a pose for 5 minutes. It’s teaching me to go deeper within myself, into my inner universe and the world around me.
To not hold on too tightly, because there’s really nothing to hold.
To surrender and let clarity rise.
To let the thoughts flow like a waterfall until they find their own calm.
To accept and embrace all parts of myself with kindness and curiosity.

Maybe that’s what this time here has really been about — learning to soften, to listen, to let go, and to simply be. To trust that when we stop trying to hold everything together, something within us knows how to find its way home 🤍

Nothing fancy here, and no efforts made to make it glamorous either. I’ve just been sitting with something raw, unfinished, uncomfortable and an elusive dream.

The mirror image and the ones reflected in others eyes are shifting rapidly these days. Half the people are asking for ‘get skinny 101’ tips, and the other half are trying to desperately feed me. I have been drinking this up and gulping it down with a strange aftertaste.

Maybe all our dreams take eons to arrive — theirs, mine, everyone’s. But somewhere in the in-betweens, I quietly turned 37 with a big slice of cake, feeling gently small, soft, and light enough for the wind to carry me along 🌱

Ca 2016. A decade later, life feels like it’s coming full circle. Once again, dancing in the whirlwind of life, as if no one is watching (because no one ever really is).

Barefoot. Dancing into it all, toes sinking into the mud, heels humbled by pebbles, with nowhere else to go but deeper.

I have come to know love through service. When things look a little bleak, I am reminded that nature is constantly at work, restoring balance for our higher good. Love, then, does not require sacrifice or compromise — it asks for intention, hope, and care.

In the words of Mariame Kaba:
“Hope isn’t an emotion, you know? Hope is not optimism. Hope is a discipline… we have to practice it every single day.”
