Hello everyone! I'm Rider's foster mom, and I'm thrilled to share the latest update on this lovable boy. He finally went to his forever home as of 1/11/26! The first video says it all - welcome home, Rider! Huge thanks to Dr. Riza and Dr. Melay for their love and compassion. So, how's Rider adjusting? Well, let's just say he's already re-landscaped the yard! Swipe to the last video to see him enjoying the flora when I took him to BGC in July 2025 - I joked that he must have been a farmer in his past life! He's also getting along great with his roommate and fellow #aspin rescue brother, Turko, and he's even got small siblings (senior dogs) and kitties to keep him company. Rider's eating well and getting plenty of exercise, thanks to his new yard.

I was a bit worried he'd get returned after his, ahem, gardening escapades, but Dr. Riza assured me it was okay. That's when I knew he was in a patient and loving home. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes - we all miss Rider, but we're so happy for him! 💙 #fosterlove #aspinlove Stay tuned for more updates - we all love and miss Rider! by @streetdogrider

11:11 - A new beginning for Rider, a.k.a., Ryder. The senior vets of @thepetprojectvets Dr. Melay and Dr. Riza, have officially decided to adopt Rider. Swipe through to read his full story, shared by his part-time foster mom, Cherry. by @streetdogrider

✨ Rider’s Journey: Life Beyond Obedience ✨

He was just a puppy on the streets, hit by a vehicle, his back and legs broken. When he was rescued, he could barely stand, and when I first met him he walked with his hind feet turned topside down. All seemed lost, but Rider had other plans.

From dragging his hind legs behind him, to now climbing stairs with joyful confidence. 🐾 Rider’s every step forward was made possible by the love of his foster mom who believes in him, a veterinary team that gave him every chance to heal, and the kind souls whose generosity kept his journey going. Along the way, The Pfleider School had the privilege of helping Rider rediscover balance, movement, and the joy of learning, one careful session, one tail wag, at a time.

Today, we celebrate Rider for achieving his Novice Trick Dog Title from @domorewithyourdog. This a true milestone that represents not just skill, but trust, resilience, and the beauty of partnership. 🎉Rider is pure light; gentle, joyful, and deeply good. His soul is clear, his gratitude unspoken yet always felt.
Here’s to Rider and to every heart that helped him walk tall again. 💛

Hi, there. Rider update today. Sound on to hear the beautiful audio.

Rider: This is me with my brother and sister in the garden. I am more than lucky.

I am home because people paved the way. Their love and care shaped who I am and where I am today.

And I pray all the street dogs out there find a real home, just like I did. Maraming salamat. #streetdogrider #howisrider #aspinofinstagram by @streetdogrider

Home isn’t always where you start. Sometimes it’s where you’re finally safe.

Back when I was still looking for my forever and complete strangers were showing me what love is. Happy weekend.

Three days ago was Aspin Day. 🤎

Rescuing an Aspin can be life-changing for everyone involved, but finding Rider his forever home was the ultimate joy.

I’m deeply grateful for everyone who became part of his journey—you know who you are. 🤎

Let’s celebrate Aspin Day every day. Because you really have to save one to experience the kind of love an Aspin gives. 🐾

Happy Aspin Day, Rider. You found your home, and we found a little more love. ❤️

Flashback time. My first bed. Have a nice weekend everyone. Wala nito sa kalsada. Even a former street dog knows he got a special bed.

Foster mom bought it from @bowhouse.ph #dogbedph #bowhouseph #flashback by @streetdogrider

Happy week to all. Look at Rider. Do you see him blooming? Rider and his brother, Turko, now shares the space with the kitten. Well, the kitten has grown a bit now. Rider likes to play chase. :-) Turko though the eldest seems to act like the middle child and keeps the family together. by @streetdogrider

Strays, they say, are incredibly smart. They learn to survive from a very young age, making the most of every chance they get. Rider knew exactly where to run…to a home where he’ll finally feel safe, loved and never have to survive on his own again.

Hi, folks. This is Hunter. He and his sister, Ophelia, were adopted by my moms and now live at the same clinic I call my first home—the place I came to after my tragic road accident and recovery from distemper—to undergo orthopedic care and rehabilitation, recover from ehrlichiosis, and eventually make a full recovery.

My encounters with cats here and also at @streetdelightsph.makati whenever I train and do agility at @thepfleiderschool, certainly opened my eyes to cat love.

My brother Turko and I have a new roomie now. A kitten. More details to follow.

Many here are missing me so my foster mom #momager will do her best to keep me connected with you all. Take good care everyone. Love, Rider, a.k.a. Ryder by @streetdogrider

Never expected this life. Foster mom said, “You are deserving and need to be spoiled.” Appreciating everything I have now. A furever family and lots of people loving me. Near and far. #aspin #resilientrider #streetdogrider
