Last night, we celebrated Strega North End’s 20th Anniversary. What a special surprise for Nick! So many friends and family joined us to toast The Varano Group on this milestone. In Strega-style, 379 Hanover Street was full of love, laughs and memories that will forever be cherished. JB— It’s hard to put into words what you’ve meant to Boston, and to all of us who have watched you grow in green. From the moment you stepped onto the floor with the @celtics , you weren’t just a star, you were a standard. Work ethic, humility, fire, leadership… you gave this city everything you had, every night. And Boston felt it. You didn’t just play here, you carried moments, you built memories, you lifted expectations of what greatness looks like in this town. That doesn’t leave when a jersey changes. There’s a real hole you leave behind here. Not just in the lineup, but in the energy, in the belief, in the identity of this team and this city. Guys like you don’t come around often.On a personal level, I’m grateful for every interaction and every handshake we had.
