AHHHHHHHHH
It's finally arrived!!
A huge thank you to @ys_artgalerie for creating this stunning painting of me and my pal.
It has totally exceeded my expectations .
The team at the gallery are absolutely wonderful. They fully talked me through the process, sending multiple sketches to choose from and ensuring i was happy with it before they proceeded. They handled the matter with love and care and i can see that has also been poured into the art.

You can view all of their artwork on instagram and their website. I will pop a link in my story to take you directly to the page where you can order your own custom painting.
I promise you, they wont disappoint 🧡

The details in the eyes 😍 absolutely beautiful

📖 The Little Liar
✍️ Mitch Albom
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Swipe for the synopsis 👉

My thoughts 💭:

✨️Find your brother one day. Tell him he is forgiven ✨️

Stunning!!
It took me a while to finish this due to my most recent reading slump, but my God, it was worth it! Heartbreaking, emotional and beautiful 🧡

Four lives. Four stories. All intertwined.

This is a heartbreaking tale of love, loss, and truth.
The first half of the book was a little slow for me to get into, but the second half is absolute perfection. It reminds me a lot of the book One Day by David Nicholls. Although the same day doesn't feature throughout (except later...), we follow all four characters throughout their lives, from the beginning of the Holocaust to many years after: brothers Nico and Sebastian, Fannie, and an SS officer named Udo Graf.

I liked that we also got to follow someone on the other side too. But what a horrible man!!!Truth exists everywhere and comes for everyone.

The final words from Fannie made me burst into tears. I wish I could share them, but they are, without a doubt, a major spoiler. 😭
Nico is one of those characters that will stay with me forever. And i think Fannie will too.

✨️You can stop atoning now. ✨️

OBSESSED 😍😍😍

a closer look at my gorgeous painting from @ys_artgalerie 🎨🖼

Swipe to see some close ups ➡️
Handmade by a German workshop, this gorgeous piece is titled Universe (I'll pop a link below and in my story so you can check them out)

High quality acrylic paint is used and the colours are so vibrant and pretty😍

The best part? It came all ready to hang with a frame so it was super easy to get it up on the wall. It has completely transformed my living space.

There are so many styles to choose from, from abstract pieces to glow-in-the-dark designs, if you fancy a browse 😍

📢 Cover reveal 📢

The wait is over.. its finally time to see the cover of The Bestseller by @jennyknightsby

So excited to read this 🥰

Swipe for the reveal 👀 and trailer 📹

Therapist Helena Salve knows that client confidentiality is the number one unbreakable rule of her job. But the constant stories of coercive control and threat she hears from her client Belle about her dangerous husband have been wearing her down. One night over too many glasses of wine, she tells her best friend Tala everything that Belle has told her.

The problem is, Tala is a down-on-her-luck novelist who is looking for an idea for her new thriller.

Months later, Tala is excitedly telling Helena that her publisher is saying this is going to be her biggest book ever. The story is Belle's story. Not only is Helena's job on the line, but if Belle's husband is as dangerous as she says, her life is too...

Why would Tala do this to Helena? She knows what's at stake.

Your friends are meant to protect you... aren't they?

Thank you to @headlinebooks for inviting me to be a part of the reveal 🥰

Hiiiii 👋

Long time, no speak! It's been a while and I haven't been posting regularly for soo long but I am really struggling with motivation 🥱

Just about to finish this sweet read from @lisarafferty_writes thank you so much for my copy 🥰

This is a lovely story about love, hope, loss, family and finding your way back to yourself.

Eleri is our main character and she's a bit of a hot mess 😂😂 she's been caught up in the influencer lifestyle. When it all comes crashing down, there's only one place to go. Back to your roots ✨️ 😌

Sadly her grandmother passed away but she is left with Larkspur house and a carefully curated to-do list. To help her find herself and everything she was running from. From family disputes and finding love to appreciating the joy in the small moments. This is a very sweet tale of someone reconnecting with who they truly are and making things right with the most important people ❤️.

We all need a Mamgu 🥰

📖 The Surrogate Mother
✍️ Freida McFadden
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Swipe for the synopsis 👉

My thoughts 💭:

I HATE THEM ALL.
I hate Abby, I hate Sam, and I hate Monica 😂😂
I honestly found this book so frustrating for the first 80% of it. WTF was Sam's relationship with Monica? Who watches their husband behave that way and barely says anything??

WHO THE HELL WOULD LET THEIR ASSISTANT OF SIX MONTHS GIVE BIRTH TO THEIR BABY????
Absolutely baffling. A lot of this could have been solved if Abby and Sam had a proper conversation.

I don't know if it was because I kinda zoned out, but I was surprised by the ending!! I had no idea about a certain someone's identity, and it definitely took me by surprise. I actually enjoyed the ending, but I'm kinda surprised I even got there.

2 stars, but the ending makes it 3! (I'll probably regret this rating when I think about it again in the future 😂😂)
It was really easy to read, fun in some parts, and engaging. As frustrating as i found some of it, I still didn't stop reading so its not all bad!
Finally, if you've read this you'll know but...
EXCEPT WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?

Exhausted and drained ✌️☮️

📖 Murder In The Family
✍️ Cara Hunter
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Swipe for the synopsis 👉
Potential spoilers 🤫

My thoughts 💭:

I hate to say it, but I knew exactly where this was going the minute I read the profiles of the experts — and when I found out who lived in the house. It was just a little too obvious for me!
I still thought it was a good read. It was a little confusing at times, with so many players in the game, but if you’ve read Cara’s book series, you’ll know this is the norm.
I love the documentary format, but I wasn’t surprised or shocked by any of the twists or reveals. Definitely a page turner though with lots to think about. Very interesting!

Is 3.5 stars too generous? Am I biased because I love her other books? I don't know 🤷‍♀️ but reading my own review it doesn't quite make sense 😂😂😂

📖 The Dead Fathers Club
✍️ Matt Haig
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Swipe for the synopsis 👉

My thoughts 💭:

Very mixed feelings on this one! I love Matt Haig but I've read a few that just fell flat and I didn't love, this is one of them! (Nowhere near as bad as The Possessions Of Mr Cave 😂)

I liked the story and actually enjoyed the writing style. There's no punctuation and the main character goes on a few random rants but it felt very true to a story being told by a child.

The plot was just too slow. Not much happening and I think the writing style was the diamond in the rough.

This won't stop me from reading other books by Matt as I do think he has a wonderful brain and great ideas for stories BUT I would say skip this one and read some of his more recent work.
